Directions: Shake well before use. Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Massage shampoo into your cat’s coat, working from the back of ears to tail and being careful to avoid contact with eyes. One of the best cat shampoos out there.
At first it looks like here is no shampoo at all in the water because it does not foam like other products. It cleans the animal well though and leaves a very light scent on their coat, which is preferable for cats if we absolutely have to wash them. Cats don’t need baths. Baths mess up with their natural scent from the way they bathe themselves. Their own scent is part of their ID.

Love this soap I will keep purchasing it one day I came home to my kitten covered in poop and one wash with this soap got it all off and no poop smell was left and as for the smell of the soap it doesn’t really leave any fragrance also people were commenting about the lather and honestly if you shake it first like it says and rub it in right it does lather enough and it leaves their fur super soft so overall a great soap you don’t have to worry about killing your cats like everything else today

Pet Shampoo
Shampoo worked well and rinsed off well. Iit is low sudsing which makes it easier to rinse. Smell good.We shampooed our Katrina in the kitchen sink, and we didn’t have to go to the shower for a high powered rinse. We are happy with this purchase.

However on my cats it was extremely gentle on the skin it removed a number of fleas but still left a small problem.

Product itself is Fine. Burt’s has a problem with the Bottle Closure.
The shampoo itself is fine. Burt’s Bees has a problem with sealing the bottle for shipment or storage.The 2 bottles arrived wrapped in plastic. Not elegant but usually OK. I opened the plastic wrapping with a scissor and found myself holding 2 very wet and slippery bottles. I took them to the sink and washed and dried them. I then opened the cap and found that both caps were totally wet under the caps. There was no effective sealing.What surprised me is that Burt’s Bees is a well known and respected supplier of various products. There are a few simple solutions to this leakage that Burt’s should have considered –.1) Use a sealing pad at the top of the male threads on the bottle. This is very common and also indicates whether the product had been tampered with..2) Change the cap to a standard, simple screw cap (with internal sealing pad), instead of the “push-to-pour” style now used. The existing cap is far to difficult seal properly, and probably isn’t needed. This existing style of cap is also very difficult to securely close.Frankly, if every time I order this product, it arrives as such a “gloppy” mess, I will consider using other products instead.

Gets dirt, but keeps the skin soft
Works great. It’s not got a good lather, but a little goes a long way. Cleared up my Spynx kittens skin bumps and it basically dissolves dirt as you wash. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Soap is fine but try to purchase elsewhere first order came and there was more soap in the plastic bag then in the bottles as both bottles were open. Contacted Amazon they reshipped and 2nd package came the same way.

The product is fine, but why does it not have at least a seal? Even the mess wouldn’t even bother me if not for the fact that a good deal of your $20 order was spilled inside its own bag. Fine product like anything else but be aware this is what you’re going to have to deal with.
