Does not work
I was really hoping that this tool worked, but it does not. I tried it on my cats who shed a ton and got virtually nothing. I tried it on my clothes to remove hair, didn’t do anything. Pretty sure I am using it the way it was intended, but it just doesn’t work.

Pumice stone with a handle
This is basically just a regular foot pumice stone that someone got the idea to repurpose as a shedding tool. I tried it on my long coated Gypsy mare, who is STILL shedding out her winter coat as we near June, and found that it did pull hair out pretty well, though not nearly as effective as many other tools designed for the purpose. Something else to throw in the grooming box, but likely won’t be a go to shedding tool. However, it probably would work well for giving a final bit of shine to the coat, helping to distribute fly spray or shine spray, etc.

Does Not Work
I’m not sure how this item is supposed to work, I was hopeful that it would surprise me but I was very let down. I used it on my English Bulldog’s coat a couple times and it did absolutely nothing. I washed it and tried to use it on the couch hoping it would pick up some fur, none whatsoever. I wish there was something else that I could use this for, but it’s a very soft / smooth pumice stone, so I couldn’t even use it for myself for say the bottoms of my feet. Overall, I feel like this product was a waste, and I’m sad that I can’t find any use for it.

Helps a bit with furniture but doesn’t remove fur from my dog
My dog is a short haired dog, but he sheds. A lot.I tried this pumice stone on him a few times. I was gentle but he didn’t seem to like it. That doesn’t matter because it didn’t remove hair.Next I tried it on the couch. It actually did remove hair from the couch. Except it also left tiny pieces of pumice on the couch (which then needs to be cleaned off). There are many better options out there.

Removes Some But Not All Of The Dog Hair
Unfortunately, although it was not completely ineffective, this upholstery brush was not the miracle I had hoped it would be.Our boxer with short spiky hair likes to ride in my husband‘s work truck, and it is always very difficult to remove his short, spiky dog hair from the upholstery. I found that pumice brush removed about 2/3 to 3/4 of the hair from the tweed upholstery but only 1/3 to 1/2 of the hair from the velour areas of the upholstery. It might be more effective, if used in tandem with a vacuum or an adhesive lint roller. I’ve included a video demonstrating how it performed.

Unfortunately, this removed exactly zero hair from my dog
I hate writing bad reviews, but I have to be honest. This tool slid right across my dog’s coat and removed exactly no hair at all. I tried different areas of his body and nothing. The stone is so smooth, I don’t really understand how it would work other than maybe as a pedicure tool or on a hairless animal. Sorry, but I have to be honest in my reviews. I can’t recommend this for purchase at all.

I use this for my own feet & hands
I use this to clean the dead skin/calluses off my own feet and hands. Palmer stones are far superior to any brush I’ve used. The hand strap makes this really easy to use.

Doesn’t work
I have a short haired dog that sheds everywhere and I was super excited to try this out. It arrived really fast and the quality is great. The strap is strong and secured well, the wood is great quality and the stone looks good. But unfortunately, it doesn’t work 😔 I tried this to brush my dog, get hair of my couch, bed, bedding, car, clothes and it didn’t work. It did not remove a single piece of hair, very disappointing
