Great toys ~ even for a bird!
I got these for my green cheek conure which is a parrot species a bit larger than parakeets. I’ve tied tine to them so that when he and I are together, I can put some of these balls up with him so he can throw them down. The twine makes the numerous retrievals quicker. He has a hooked beak like you’d expect to see on a parrot, but hasn’t injured these at all. I was grateful to find such a small size as he can be intimidated my new things pretty easily but has done very well with these.

My cats love these!
I wouldn’t had thought my cats would go for a plastic ball with a bell inside it, but both of them do. The only toy they might like equally as well is their catnip mice toys. They’re constantly batting these jingle-balls around the house, chasing them (and each other) at all hours of day or night. The only problem is they bat these under and/or behind furniture where they can’t reach them, and then meow because they’re frustrated about not being able to get to their toy. I swear I’m going to find a ton of these around my house whenever I move somewhere else. Lol.

Entertainment!
I have hard floors, no carpet anywhere – my cat LOVES batting these balls and chasing them. We play catch a bit too… I roll to her and she bats it back, repeat several times. Very entertaining for me to watch her playing with these, and of course entertaining for her also. Only one has been broken because my wheelchair rolled over it, ha, but for her playing antics – they don’t break.
