Why does the BPI Certification Mark show “For use only in Canada”?
BPI only licenses certification of pet waste bags for Canada, where pet waste is commonly accepted in curbside composting programs. In the U.S., pet waste is not currently accepted in most curbside residential composting programs
How can I tell if this bag is lab tested & certified in the USA?
If the BPI Certification Mark & Membership Number are printed on the bag, then the bag is lab tested & certified in the USA. Bags that do not display this info are not certified in the US
Can I use this bag to pickup dog poop?
YES, this bag is larger than the typical 9″ x 13″ poop pickup bag. It is ideal for picking up after larger dogs or if you pickup dog poop from your backyard every other day or once a week
Can I use this bag as food scrap bag?
YES, this bag is perfect for your small countertop food scrap or organic waste compost bin (1-2 Gal capacity)
Can I compost pet waste or poop for garden?
Pet waste compost can be used as a soil additive for revegetation, lawn establishment, and planting beds. It should not be used on crops grown for human consumption

I have four cats that have always been indoor/outdoor cats but one of them is getting really old so we make him stay indoors at night meaning we had to get a litter box. I try very hard not to use plastic because it’s so bad for the environment and these are perfect. Never break, they come in a box with so many. Many they last a long time and I feel great about using them.

Good for the planet because biodegradable. Works well: easy to close, big aperture. No scent is always better for you, the cat and the planet. Good value, plenty of bags so durable , will be enough for a while

Small but they work
Even after reading the dimensions in the description, I find these bags to be a bit smaller than I expected. We have two large dogs and go thru them pretty quickly.Since they go into the landfill with our regular weekly garbage, I can’t give an opinion on their compostability but I’m hopeful, and it makes me feel a little better not throwing more plastic grocery bags into the landfill.

These small biodegradable bags are great for picking up after pets. We scoop our kitty litter into these. It’s nice to always have bags available, since sometimes we didn’t have extra plastic bags laying around to reuse.

Great size for both doggie or cat pop but pretty thin
I love the convenience of having biodegradable bags when I scoop out my cat’s litter box instead of searching for a grocery bag without any holes. In love that these bags are also conveniently folded into a box that dispenses one at a time.The only caveat is how thin these are if you are scooping for multiple cats or if your cat is capable of some serious-sized #2s! It’s not a huge deal, however. Due to the fact that these bags are biodegradable, i don’t feel guilty about double-bagging to ensure that I can scoop out my cat’s box each day without creating a mess.
