Very pleased with these bags. I have a litter box in a small laundry room. I keep it clean but there was always the odor of litter — dusty, almost a dirt smell — not litter box smell, just the litter itself.I put a large and a small bag out in the sun for two hours, hung them in the laundry room and I could not believe it when about 15 minutes later the odor was gone. I thought my nose was playing tricks on me, but I asked my husband, who has a very sensitive nose, and he confirmed he could smell “nothing.” I got up the next morning and went to the laundry room just to make sure and, again, nothing — and the box needed to be scooped!For the reviews where they said it didn’t work, I’m thinking they may not have put them in the sun for 2 hours before using. The bags come with no instructions — at least my box didn’t. Here online it says to recharge every 30 days by placing in the sun for 2 hours. So, if you don’t do that right out of the box before hanging them the charcoal probably isn’t activated and won’t work.I have found that if I close the door to the room it’s not quite as effective as it needs air circulation (which it says online, as well).I’m placing them all over my house so we can smell “nothing” everywhere! Great product — definitely recommend trying!

I bought the 12-pack with 6-150s and 6-…50s? I got them because no matter how hard i tried to keep the litter box scooped, the ammonia smell still lingered. I put two 150s in the bathroom …where I keep the box… 2 in my living room …1 in the kitchen …and 1 in my bedroom. I’ve got a small one in each trash can and rotate them in footwear as i rotate them on my feet. (slippers->shoes) My mother, who has a very sensitive nose(and brought the cat scent to my attention …i guess i was used to it?), even appreciated them so much that she bought some for herself. She helps take care of horses and tracks their smells around with her in the car, i guess. These are DEFINITELY worth the cost, IMO. Particularly when they don’t appear to just cover up the smells by putting more chemicals and/or ‘better’ scents into the air, but actually pull them out of the air and eliminate them(but not their sources, of course. heh).I’d read 1 or 2 reviews about a chemical smell with these things. I did not experience that at all. There was NO scent to them, as far as i could tell. All they did in my place was remove those smells that were already there. In fact …i live in an apartment complex and this year there were a couple of people that decided it wouldn’t be a problem for anyone if they smoked fish out in front of our building. I tended to leave the windows open as i went to work for the day and when i got home, my apartment reeked. Granted, smoked salmon isn’t the worst smell in the world, IMO, but it can linger and set into upholstery/clothing/carpet and not everybody likes it. Anyhow, i closed the windows and a couple hours later BAM! No smoked fish smell.I started closing my windows before i left for work and it is no longer stuffy …when not allowing fresh air to circulate… when i get home either, so i really think i am going to appreciate these this winter, as well. The next test is how long they last. So far, so good. I haven’t moved them in weeks and they still seem to be working just as well as they were at the first. If they lose their effectiveness in another month(as has been noted in reviews), i plan to set them on the window sill for a dose of UV radiation to ‘recharge'(also noted). I’ll try to remember to update this review with the results at the time.All told, so far, this appears to be one of the best purchases i’ve ever made.

Love these!
There is a noticeable difference in the air quality of my home even just after an hour of having them up. I’ve been looking for natural and nontoxic ways to eliminate everyday odors and this is it! I docked one star because the metal loops it came with to hang don’t fit around my doorknobs, but this was easily fixed by hanging them with twine instead.

Not that impressed.
The bags have a mild scent about them but it’s pleasant and not overpowering. They’re not effective in mitigating cat litter smells. I put 3 of the large sized bags in my bathroom by the cat pan and I honestly can’t even tell they are doing anything. I figured since they are supposed to absorb smells that they would start smelling lime cat litter fairly quickly but this is not the case. They smell the same as when I pulled them out of the shipping bag. Which makes me feel like they are not absorbing anything.I also placed the rest of them in strategic locations around my apartment and again I am not seeing or should I say smelling any benefit from having them. I also let them “charge” or “activate” in direct sunlight outside before initial use as the instructions state.These might be good for very enclosed places like your shoes, gym bags, small lockers, or possibly even small closed closets with little airflow but not effective in larger areas like my bathroom which is fairly small already.Keep that in consideration when looking to purchase as these did not meet my needs or expectations and I would not recommend or buy again. At least not this brand.

Highly recommend! Works on rooms/apartments that smell of weed
I highly recommend getting these if your place has a funky smell or any smell at all. When I moved into my new apartment, the previous tenants smoked weed and the smell was very strong!! Even after using candles, washing the walls, essentials oils, leaving windows open, deep conditioning the carpet; nothing could get the smell out. Once I got these and put them all over my apartment, the SMELL has gone away!! I even put some in my car to prevent any odors. Highly recommend!

Jag använde “12-pack luftreningspåse i bambu” direkt efter att jag hängde upp dem i tvättstugan, pannrummet och även i ett inre rum i källaren. Resultatet var fantastiskt – redan efter några timmar kunde jag märka en tydlig skillnad. Dålig lukt försvann nästan helt och luften kändes fräschare. Jag är mycket nöjd och rekommenderar starkt dessa påsar till alla som har problem med instängda eller unken luft!

Mon avis :En Septembre 2023, nous avons eu un petit dégât des eaux, l’eau s’est écoulée d’une salle de bain à l’étage et a traversé le placo pour s’écouler dans le salon par les spots du plafond. Fuite qui a duré 3 heures dans la nuit. Nous avons fait tout séché, mis des déshumidificateurs…en attendant de repeindre l’été prochain car cet été, nous n’avons pas pu le faire, malheureusement. Mais, avec les chaleurs plus le changement de temps actuel, des odeurs sont soudainement apparues…Les cloisons sont maintenant pourtant sèches mais le peintre pense que des moisissures se sont peut-être installées et se réactivent avec l’humidité de l’automne (j’habite dans les Alpes en moyenne montagne). Ce qui est étrange c’est que rien de tout cela n’était apparu en 1 an. J’ai acheté ces sacs et …Génial… Toutes les odeurs d’humidité ont disparu. Donc, c’est efficace et en plus, ça purifie l’air, ce qui était ma priorité ayant des enfants à la maison. Je vais en recommander pour en avoir d’avance car j’en ai mis dans toutes les pièces. On m’avait déjà parlé des bienfaits du charbon et de son pouvoir absorbant…Je confirme que ça agit bien. Une solution future aussi quand le peintre sera là pour rénover notre plafond et notre mur et pour enlever toutes les odeurs de peinture à venir qui sont, quand même aussi très désagréables et, en plus, nocives.
