I would not call these ‘sheep shears’. I trimmed two dogs. One small terrier and one Saint Bernard. The first cutting head is worn out. These trimmers would, in my opinion, not fare well in thick wool. They are not bad quality for the price, merely over sold.

I love this clipper for shearing my sheep!
I have one sheep and I shear her myself. It’s a daunting task and the professional shears I bought are super intimidating and I nearly chopped my finger off the first year. They work well but they scare the hell out of me and my sheep doesn’t hold very still when I’m shearing her. These clippers are amazing! They work super well and they aren’t as “lethal” like my old ones. In fact, I have just bought a 3rd one of these clippers. I had bought the 2nd one and that way I can let one clipper cool down and use the other. I spend about 2 hours each time I shear her so it takes some time. I found that a 3rd one would be about perfect for letting them cool down between each other in getting her done. I really like how well these clip my sheep, effective and easy to use. Highly recommended.

Fantastic!!! Work Better than I Ever Expected…….
I own two Andis clippers but neither were working so I decided that I’d buy an inexpensive pair until I could have the Andis repaired. I am AMAZED at the way this set of trimmers work, swiftly and beautifully. I was totally surprised! They truly are so quiet that I had far less of a problem grooming my doodle. They’re plastic not metal, but they cut much better than my $200 Andis. This grooming set is worth every penny and then some. Grab a pair before the secret gets out that they’re awesome!!!!

Dog clippers
The clippers work great, but use the different combs that are part of the package. Do not use the trimmer unless you really know what your doing. I found the comb attachment slow to cut, my dog had extremely thick hair. In the case of a hairy dog that was yesterday, today he is shaved to the skin, my bad not the shaver. It really does work as well as advertised. hahaha, ah man!

Funciona muy bien, razura bien, pero si se calientan a los 10 o 15 minutos. Pero igual puedes dejarla descansar haciendo otras cosas, como recoger el pelo de los perros o peinarlos si están muy enredados

I took in a stray long-haired cat. Since she probably had no human contact when she was a kitten, she can’t be picked up, or even handled, without going crazy. Therefore, brushing is a tremendous struggle for both the cat and myself. So, she ended up majorly matted on her underside chest and stomach. I tried using a corded store-bought hair clipper that was meant for human hair cuts and it would not cut through any of the mats. So I looked on Amazon and read reviews of different corded clippers that were being used on pets. I chose this one. I wanted a corded model as I figured they were stronger and wouldn’t have to deal with recharging. For the price of taking her to the groomers, I would get my own clippers that I could also use on her in the future, if needed. Plus, I wouldn’t have to stress her out by taking her to the groomers. These clippers are amazing! It shaved off the mats like a hot knife through butter! It allowed me to work very fast, which was desirable for both me and the cat. I was worried as the clippers are plastic but they work like a pro. They are loud but the noise really didn’t make things any worse for the cat. The thing that bothered the cat was the death grip my husband had on her in preparation for me shaving her. The noise really did not seem to make her any more stressed. If you have a matted long-haired cat, these are the clippers for you. Now that her mats are all gone, I am going to try brushing her better, maybe picking one spot to work on everyday or so. But if she gets matted again, I will be using these clippers!

this clipper is great, I LOVE the long cord and steady power in comparison to a cordless, it can be a bit noisy on the short setting but can be fixed by changing it. Great quality for the price I have been using it for 2 years on the 3 poodles and never had an issue.

My dog is a large Northern Shepherd, he has very long thick hair. We used other raisers which cost more.We had issues with every one.Mind you we have only shaved our dog once with the new 12v unit, but it worked great, and this is the first time we where able to shave his whole body properly with out frustration.The groomer would cost us $265.00 plus tip to shave him, so I figure I can purchase many shavers and still save money.
