it works
My dog doesn’t like it much, but it does the job. He is a mix, medium length hair, and he sheds a lot. With this brush, I get as much hair out of him every time that I could have made another dog out of it. My dog is not a big fan of it b/c apparently it pulls his hair a bit, especially on the face and front legs. But with treats for standing still, he tolerates if OK.

This is the best brush I’ve ever used!
My cat is longhaired. We do a groom everyday, but it used to be a struggle to get her to stay put and let me comb out her knots. Now, she seems to enjoy it. I keep it in a box with all my other grooming tools, and she paws at it now, when she used to run when I opened it., like she wants to be brushed. This was a very good investment. I like the staggered bristles and that they’re rounded so they don’t scrape her skin. And the undercoat rake is very efficient and effective in removing the winter coat she built up.

I love this thing.
I have four cats and a dog and spring sheds can be a nightmare, and with our first baby on the way it was more than time to get the fur situation under control. I’ve tried regular brushes and find they don’t actually get the under coat but this thing gets it all. Honestly I found it absolutely insane how much fur came off of just one cat! The dog isn’t in love with the undercoat brush but enjoys the regular side. I’d say her fur is almost to thick for the the one side which is why she isn’t a fan, might pull a bit when I stroke her, but it still gets a lot of excess fur off. I don’t have long hair cats so I can’t say how well this would work for their undercoat.

Easy detangling
This is the only brush/comb our havanese mix will tolerate. Don’t ask me how it works, but it does not pull on her fur and it untangled all her snarls with one or two swipes. We keep her hair pretty short so I don’t know how it would do on long hair.

Doesn’t work too well on my dog. She’s part shepherd & husky. Her coat is very short & not full. The comb really didn’t pull too much fur out. Maybe it would be better on a dog or cat with a thicker coat.
