Great cat toy!
My 11-year-old cat is normally pretty sedate, but he cannot resist this toy! He chases it all over the house. Sometimes it chases him!

Crazy wild
This thing is crazy. My cat doesn’t know what to think of it. It really moves well and randomly, but unlike the product information it doesn’t do very well if the carpet is very high. Also it tends to quit moving after a couple of minutes if you or your cat don’t touch it. Worth the money.

Several design flaws, but still fun
This toy was very promising for the first few minutes. My dog (miniature Schnauzer) loves it as long as it keeps moving. However, the battery runs out of juice within 5 minutes. She chases it all over the house and has a blast. However, every minute or so, the tail would get tangled between the ball and the outer housing, stalling the action. I would have to detangle it. Then every couple of minutes, the toy would ram the wall. This would cause the outer housing to get jarred loose from the ball, and the motor would just sit there and whirl. The dog also manages to turn the unit off quite often by biting on the ball. This may not be a problem with cats, however.When it works correctly, this toy is great. But every minute, it crashes and get jarred apart. I did solve the issue of the tail getting tangled, by wrapping the tail in green painter’s masking tape. See picture.

My cats LOVE these things
These little balls have very strong motors and will zip over carpets and bedding just fine. They also handle drops pretty well – I usually start these off on the bed and let the cats chase it down onto the floor.There are two modes but I’m not sure what the difference is. They run for a set amount of time and then stop – I do wish they’d run a bit longer.I’m glad they come in a 2-pack because they get lost fairly easily since they will drive themselves into nooks and corners. Fortunately my cats tend to drag them back out into the light so they can be found and recharged.The main thing though is that the cats LOVE these things. When they hear the little bell on it ring when I pick it up they come running in anticipation of me turning it on.

These cat toys are absolutely amazing. You get a set of 2 for the listed price. They are everything you could want a cat toy to do on its own, but you probably didn’t think was actually possible. This toy is automated so all you have to do is press the button and let it do its thing. It rolls around, flicks the little tail, and jingles a small bell to entice your cat. The ball portion has rubber on it, so it easily moves on carpet and does not move too fast on uncarpeted, smooth surfaces. The movements are also varied which is supposed to keep a cat from getting easily bored with it. There are also 2 different settings. You can either set it to roll and move around on its own time, or set it to move only when your pet touches it. What is really amazing is that the toy does not get stuck easily anywhere or under furniture which I was afraid of. It seems to detect when it bumps into something and then rolls in an opposite direction, sort of like a robot vacuum does. The toy is also rechargeable which is nice rather than having to spend money on replacement batteries. It does pick up carpet fuzz and hair, but it is so simple to unsnap a portion of it to clean it and easily snap it back together. The designers thought it everything when they made this toy. As a plus, my small Pug dog really likes playing with it as well!

Don’t burn your cash!
Terrible garbage! Already threw them in the garbage. The batteries didn’t run for long at all! Then one of the 2 devices broke after a couple of uses. In addition, my car didn’t even like them!

Not the most durable, but my kitties love it. One of my cats is really rough and she ripped off the green worm thingy within an hour lol. But they love it and will chase it around all day if they could. It also makes very quick movements, so it keeps them entertained.
