We have had cats for many years but now that our last cat has passed on, we have decided not to get another one. But we LOVE cats so we have made the move to cat sit for people. We also do cat drive-bys to check on their kitties while they are away.As soon as I saw these laser pointers I grabbed them. I know how much cats and kittens love these pointers.1. I love the fact that they are easy to hold. They are about the size of a slender flashlight and fit comfortably in your hand.2. They are rechargeable and require no batteries at all. To recharge them, simply plug them into a USB-A port, whether it’s on your computer, USB hub, or in your car. When you plug them in, a tiny blue light appears on the side at the end where you plug it in. When the pointer is fully charged, the blue light turns off and you are ready to use it again.3. The package contains 2 laser pointers. This is great, especially if you use them a lot, because you always have a freshly charged ready-to-go pointer. Fun!4. The box contains instructions but know that the print is very small.5. You have 3 choices of colors – the traditional red, purple (which creates a large purple circle), and a soft white flashlight circle.6. The red laser light can be used in its traditional dot-style or you can change the red pointer shape by using a tiny roller control close to the display end of the pointer. You can choose a star, happy face, fish, or butterfly. I really like the star, but test it on your own cat and see what they like.BONUS tip: If you watch someone’s cat for extra cash, consider telling them about this pointer and how well their cat(s) responded to it. This can be an added personal touch to your thank-you note when you complete your assignment. Extremely fun pointer pens!
Two identical lazer pointers!Okay, I have a few cats.And they go nuts over those lazer pointers when they are used!Our cats go bananas when that little red dot appears on the floors and walls!Hectically trying to catch the dot before it can dart off to another section of the room!This comes with a few shapes more than the little red dot!-The first image is the red dot up close- the tiny red dot is in fact still a tiny red dot.-Followed by a red mouse- that image is across the room to make it appear larger for photo purposes. It’s size depends on how close it is. This is true for the next 3 shapes!-There’s a Star-There’s a Smiley face-There’s a butterflyThis also has a UV light.This also has a flashlight!The flashlight is pretty bright for a pen-sized light!I’ve gone through several pointer lights.Most need batteries (AAA) to use.These have a USB plug to charge them! No batteries needed!!And it only takes a few minutes to charge if it starts to fade !These have been a lot of fun for us to play with our cats!I am so happy with these because of the USB plug!We would have gone through several batteries by now!And the lights are still going strong!I do recommend these pointer pens!

Fun laser with different shapes and types of light
This is a cute laser toy that come with some additional perks beyond the regular ones I see at pet stores. You also get a UV light and a regular light so it can act as a flashlight in a pinch. I wouldn’t rely on it as a flashlight if you really need a true light source, but it’ll be fine if you just need a small amount of light. On top of that it also transforms the red laser light into various shapes. All you have to do to flip between the different shapes is to turn a dial and they are definitely very distinct shapes you can easily see.The fact that you get two of these for a price that’s similar to the ones I see in pet stores for a single laser pointer makes it a great deal. I haven’t tried one with my dog since she was a puppy and figured out where the light was coming from after a couple days. She stopped chasing the light and would just try to get the thing in my hand anytime I’d bring it out. This time she figured it out after a few minutes and now when she sees the light she watches it for a bit then just looks at my hand. Oh well, I knew that would probably happen so I don’t blame the toy. My daughter has a cat so I’ll probably give them to her, I’d planned on giving her one anyway (another great reason to get two). They worked straight out of the box so if they take batteries those came preloaded. I don’t see a charging port so I assume that’s how they get power.Great deal for two laser pointers, and having the added UV and flashlight options, plus the fun shapes, makes it an even better option.
