Good quality gloves, very long cuff for better protection!
Ordered these to replace my current welding gloves. Mine aren’t worn out, in fact, I think I only use them maybe once a year. But, they do not match. Inherited them from my father when he passed, and, well, they don’t match. They fit, but, one has a long cuff, the other, only about half as long, and, one is a dark brown, and one is white-ish. Not sure why dad had a mis-matched pair, but they worked. Just… weird.Saw these and had to get them. I’m not a falconer, don’t rehabilitate eagles, nothing like that. But, I did need a new, more modern pair of welding gloves. These fit very well. The leather is pretty thick, like my dads old-school (and mis-matched) gloves. Only these seem to be more pliable which I like. One thing that surprised me, and I like very much, is how long the cuffs are.I have long arms. I’m not tall, only 5’10”, but have arms like Lurch, or so my wife thinks – and the woman many years ago that fit me for my tux for my sisters wedding (she made a comment thinking I was out of earshot, about my long arms). My arms are so long that my wife sometimes calls me a knuckle dragger. I have to kid her back tho (er, maybe she wasn’t kidding?) that she is the one with the Ancestry DNA report that said she had a trace of Neanderthal DNA, so “HONEY, Who’s the Knuckle Dragger Now?!!” LOL. (I just had to say that, haha)Anyway, the cuffs, yes, the cuffs on these gloves come nearly to mid-bicep on me. I love this, as there is far less chance that I will get some molten Lava Hot slag jumping down my glove. Also, with such long cuffs, I can also rest an elbow on the workbench, shop floor, ground, wherever, while welding, without getting that painful elbow bone to solid object twinge effect.Love these gloves!

Also great for gardening
Got these to wear during yard work involving a giant thorny Japanese barberry bush in my front yard. When I saw these “bite gloves” I figured that if they were thick enough to protect against animal teeth they would probably be good enough for these thorns, and so far they absolutely are.I also thought these might come in handy if one of our cats brings a live mouse into the house but that only happens once or twice a year. Next time it does I will definitely be reaching for these gloves. And not only are they effective but they are beautiful as well! They are made of real suede that’s been dyed this gorgeous deep emerald-teal color side note: I’ve used them in the light rain and the color is steadfast. The color is actually a little brighter in person, and the lining is super soft. The fingers are much too long for me but thats almost always the case with “one size” gloves because I have relatively small hands. (I wear a small in disposable latex gloves and my middle finger is 3” long.) The sleeves reach all the way up to about 3” from my armpit crease and my arm measures 18” from armpit to wrist.

My husband and I can both use fine
These have been very useful when handling my iguana. They are thick and bite proof and fit pretty well from my small hands to my husband’s large. They are a little stiff regardless of the hand size so the fingers arent really flopping around making it fine for a variaty of hand sizes to use.

Puurfection!
These gloves are huge! I do cat rescue, such as TNR and rehabilitation. These type of gloves are a necessity when dealing with feral cats. I am able to handle even the spiciest of kitties! They keep me safe! They are quite durable and thick! I can have a cat bite and scratch the gloves with no injuries to my person.Overall, these are wonderful gloves and I am quite happy with them!

Thick Gloves, but With Strong, Unpleasant Smell
These had a really strong, unpleasant smell when I got them. It’s taken multiple days of outdoor airing in the sunshine, and there is still some lingering scent. Otherwise, these gloves are okay – they’re thick, extend well up the arms, and are comfortable on the inside. Don’t expect to do any fine handling with these – the fingers are one-size-fits-all so if you’re an average sized woman like I am, you’ll probably find them a too big. I can grab an angry adult cat in these, but I wouldn’t want to use them for handling kittens because the sausage fingers make it hard to safely grip smaller things.
