Works great!
Does exactly what it says it does. I bought it to use prior to vacuuming to avoid clogging issues and help keep the vacuum in good condition longer. Description is completely accurate. There are 2 sides for different carpet types. It is not intended for woven rugs so don’t expect it to work on it. The handheld works great for throw rugs that have ridges, Berber carpet, and furniture. I’m very pleased with this purchase. Adding photos so people can see the type of carpet it works great on. Definitely recommend for folks that have fur babies that shed a lot. The handle is shorter than a broom handle but I’m a short individual so that was not an issue for me. It is aluminum so not intended for rough use, which it didn’t require in my opinion. I did have to push harder than expected when assembling the broom end with the handle in order to line up the holes but got it secured properly.

Game changer!
I was so frustrated because my vacuum would never get all the cat hair off my rug. I bought a large lint roller and it would get hairs up but I’d use an entire roll just to do my rug. So I gave this carpet rake a try and it actually works! It didn’t snag or pull my rug at all and removed all the cat hair. Looks like a new rug again It is well made but not heavy and a great value for the cost. I am so glad purchased this!

My new favorite cleaning tool. I have cats and long blonde hair. This gets everything in the carpet. I even flicked a spider out of my carpet that scared me so bad I almost peed. Blessed. Love this tool!!

A little too cheap; loosens way too easily
I was so excited to receive this item! I had been seeing it online for quite some time now, and thought it would be the perfect cleaning tool for someone with carpet and a dog who sheds a lot! I had heard of Uproot brand, but they seemed too expensive. Finding this brand, however, I thought it would basically work the same way.I have been a little disappointed. Because it’s broken down into 3 segments, it gets loose very easily. I basically have to grip it extremely hard just so it won’t become undone. Once going over the carpet, you have to ensure you do it at least 5-8 times to really get a good amount of hair out of the carpet.The handheld doesn’t seem to work great either. Granted, I’ve only used it once on a small ottoman, but it didn’t seem to do much. I’ll keep trying it, but for now I can only give it a 3 star.

Don’t waste your $$ on others!
This is the ONLY animal hair collector that has a strong enough long handle. It doesn’t bend under pressure, like the other two I bought did. The short carpet scraper is fabulous at collecting more hair than you EVER thought you had in your home, as is the long handled scraper. I can reach under tables and chairs, so easily, to collect animal hair because of the long and strong handle – which saves time and saves my back!

This carpet rake is an amazing tool! I actually purchased this because of my OWN LONG hair. After getting tired of having to spend so much time unwinding my hair from the vacuum roller I decided to try one of these. It does exactly what it says it does! And, of course, it picked up my cat’s hair as well.This is a great product that I highly recommend!
