Amazing!
I was tired of having cat hair everywhere. My vacuum works great as far of sucking up the cat hairs on floors, carpet, and rugs. However, there was always cat hair on the bed, the couch, blankets, rug. I wanted to tackle the source. I saw videos of the steam brush and was skeptical it would work as well in real life. This brush…worked just like it did in the video. Amazing! I was shocked how much hair came off of her, the steam prevents the hair from flying around while brushing. Although she tried to run away in the first few seconds because she was scared of the steam, afterwards she laid there, purred, and rolled around on her own to make sure I got all sides.The only thing, on the instructions, it says when you plug in to charge, there will be a slight red light on the product. I did not see a light and was unsure if it was charging. Your cat will eventually dampen from the steam so like I saw in other reviews, I brushed her without the steam on. Afterwards her hair was shiny, sleek and soft. The instructions also say you can add essential oils or water into the water compartment. I just used water.

The brush is a lovely lavender color, and that was one thing that caught my eye. The bristles are soft yet firm, and they’re made of a rubber material. They provide good stimulation when you’re brushing the fur, so your pet will enjoy a gentle massage. The rubber bristles are effective at removing the loose fur as well as dander, and they’re gentle on your fur baby’s skin.There is a handle that slides into place, so you can use it with or without it. Using the handle adds a little length when you’re holding the brush, but choosing to keep the handle folder allows you to hold the grooming tool directly in your palm. It’s all a matter of what’s more comfortable to the person doing the grooming, and it’s nice to have the option.The comb charges via a Type C USB cable, which is included; the charging head isn’t. It charged pretty quickly, in about 30 minutes. My cat loves this brush!
My cat LOVES this brush! She purrs and purrs while I’m brushing her. She’s a domestic shorthair, 15 years old. The mist feature is great as it stops the static electric shocks. I start out with it on, and turn it off when she’s a little bit damp. I get a good amount of fur off of her but maybe not as much as a wire brush. It’s good to wait until done brushing when you have the maximum amount of fur. More fur makes it easier to remove it from the rubber bristles. I had a rubber bristle brush without the mist feature, and the hair would just fly all over the place. So the misting feature is definitely an improvement.

awesome steamer brush
this brush works great on my cats. they absolutely love the bristles and beg to be brushed! it has been hit or miss for us, depending on the cat, if they will allow us to use it on them with the steamer function turned on. for the ones who allow us, it makes such a visible difference on their coats! the brush is really easy to use. it charges quickly, and the charge lasts quite a while. we sometimes will have to refill the water tank a time or two while brushing, if we are brushing multiple cats in one session, but that is quick/easy and not a big deal. the brush has a handle, unlike the other steamer brushes we have, which definitely makes this one feel a bit easier to use. overall we are really happy with this brush and so are our cats!

Potential Safety Hazard
I wasn’t able to crack this open to confirm, but to get straight to the point, I believe there is either no barrier between the water and the electronics, or there is insufficient barrier. After you charge it and fill it up, it works fine for maybe a minute, but once you start brushing areas of your pet where it can’t just be held horizontally (chest, sides, belly) it starts to act up, either turning off entirely or turning off only to turn back on once tilted back. While I and my dog did not get shocked by this, I can’t trust the build quality enough to continue using it. You may be better getting an atomizer spray bottle and a curry comb for your pets.

It’s a cold mist, not warm steam
I’ve been eyeing this type of brush for a while for my two long haired cats. The steam part was what caught my eye.Alas, it’s not steam at all. It’s a mist. Steam would require heating of water into a gaseous state. This is just a fine, cold mist. Not sure what the point of the mist is. Maybe to keep the fur from flying when brushing your pets? It doesn’t grab any more loose hair than any other pet hair brush or comb. But after a while, it left my cats’ fur damp. That might be nice in the summer, but not ideal when it’s cold. So I’ll use the mist part when it gets hot. It’s a nice brush otherwise. My cats don’t seem to mind it, and it glides nicely through their super thick fur.
