    So far so good
Only on the first bag. I didn’t realize these were litterbox liners so they’re huge. I was using them for 3 gal buckets that hold litter but can easily hold probably 8 gallons or so. I also use similar bags for an automatic litter box which needs way smaller bags, but I’ll make use of these. They say they’re made of bioplastics and are biodegradable. I haven’t been able to test but am eager to see.

    it works well
This works great for litter boxes. I used one already and it fit the large litter box.

    Barely rips
My cats scratch a lot when they use the litter box which makes the litter leak when changing but these have been super good!

Def compostable as they break down FAST!
These bags are HUGE! They are about 3-4 times bigger than they need to be for the Litter Robot, but I was able to make it work with no issue by rolling it up around the drawer. Here’s where the issues came in to play. Large bag = holds more litter waste = less bags used, right? WRONG!Reminder: these are compostable, which means, they break down over time. Well, a week is way too long to have wet, dirty litter sit in it apparently. While I didn’t know it at the time, as I was bringing it to the trash can it was slowly splitting open and leaving a nice little trail in my wake….GROSS. While I do blame myself (I compost food waste and know the bags can break down quickly with anything wet) I just didn’t put it together that this could happen with my litter bag!Thankfully, I was able to keep it from being a complete disaster of a mess by grabbing a *plastic* bag nearby and re-bagging. Not great for the environment though but glad I was able to keep some of the mess at bay.Future use: Double Bag the waste! Given that no matter what, the bag would split whether in the drawer or in the trash can, that’s a huge mess I don’t want. I double bag my other compost and it works wonders, so likely it’ll work with this. I’m not sure if there is any other option that would allow for the waste to sit a week and not bust out everywhere! So, I’ll be going through these twice as fast now then other bags. However, it is good to know these do break down so well as I can use them for other things that aren’t nearly so gross!Overall, these may not be ideal for wet litter but maybe for other items that are compostable? I was excited to get these but I think this will be my first and last purchase.

    Good quality.
Ideal for my cat’s litter box, the bags are thick, good size and quality, easy to tie, I recommend them.

    Cat can rip bag
We have a round litter box so this works, but kitty tears through it. Going to try lining the bag with newspaper.

    Great Bags!
We just got an XL litter box, and these bags are absolutely perfect for it. They fit nicely and securely. I will say that we have a lid with a latch which holds the bags in place. So, I can’t speak for the staying power of the bags without a lid. But, they work very well with the lid. Our cats scratch like crazy, and I don’t think there’s a bag in existence that is thick enough to fully withstand the power of cat claws. But, these bags are thick enough to hold up very well. There are only minor holes when I go to change the litter, meaning that there’s not a lot of leakage to deal with, and almost no real mess. It’s usually just a matter of dusting out the litter box a bit. Oh, and the handles are secure and bear the weight well. I can easily cinch up the bag and lift it out without fear of any of it falling apart like other bags have done. The other thing is scent. Our cats are very sensitive to scents and won’t use the litter box if it smells even slightly off. There has not been a single issue with these bags from day one, so the scent is either absent or okay for the cats.If you need an XL bag, these are a great option!

Way to big for litter Robot
These are definitely way to big for an my Litter Robot so not usable with this automatic box but they do fit pretty well for a normal sized litter box and they seem to hold up pretty well with my cat that likes to scratch all the way to the bottom of the box each time he uses it. I can’t speak for how well they will decompose being that I don’t throw these into a compost bin but it does not break down in the box after a week of use, so good that it’s not to quick.
