Cat loves it
I like it because my cat loves it. It does wobble a bit and it put my cat off for a day or so. Once he realized that it was stable despite some wobbling he loved it. He is 11.6 pounds and can find comfy ways to sit and sleep on it. Formerly an outdoor cat before I adopted him, this makes him happy and he has adjusted nicely to indoor, safe life.

Definitely a nice cat scratcher with lounge top
This item definitely deserves a thumbs up. The quality is good, and the product looks exactly as presented in the picture. It is an assembly item, there is one front/back page of diagram instructions, that do not explain a second bag of 4 washers and adhesive round cushions. Potentially the cushions are for the bottom, to keep it from scuffing the floor, but the corners are already wrapped in carpet, so potentially not needed. There is also a second puff ball included, it is not shown in the picture, nor explained on the instructions, and has a different end adapter that doesn’t appear functional. There is a strip with holes attached under the basket that also did not make sense with the diagram instructions, but it doesn’t detract from the product by simple not using it. The top is big enough for a grown cat, unless your cat is really large. The top bed does not have high sides, or a well defined “basket”, but my crew didn’t have a problem getting comfortable. Everyone was drawn to the scratcher, and tried it out. My crew are familiar with this style of scratcher, so took right to it. I ordered 3 of these, and the base does have a sticker about formaldehyde, which I’m sensitive to, and did cause some uncomfortable respiratory issues putting together, so something to be aware of. If the bed basket was more substantial, I’d give this a 5 rating.

Great size and height
I initially bought a smaller scratching post for my kitten, but as he grew, he wanted to reach up to scratch. Since I didn’t want my couch /cupboards/ curtains taking that on, I looked for a taller scratching post.He loves this scratching post and bed. I have it in the bathroom where he sleeps at night, and the cat bed is at the same level as the counter. I was worried he wouldn’t scratch the post since he is pretty picky about what he scratches, but no problems there.I also really like that the cushion on the top is removable/ washable. Definitely worth it.
