    Our dog loves them!
These steps are wonderful! My 60lb dog has no trouble using them. He’s 11 and his vet doesn’t want him jumping up and down from furniture. He has disk issues in his neck. These stairs allow him to come up and sit by me, or take a nap. They are Jazz approved!

Highly customizable and functional stairs for elderly pets, zippers can be a bit iffy
I ordered this for my aging arthritic cat who has trouble with vertical jumps these days. We’ve got several types of stairs around the apartment, but I liked that this one could be separated into several pieces if-needed.The package arrives totally compressed. It says to give it 24 hours or more to fully inflate the foam, but you really don’t need that long. It seemed pretty close to max height within the hour. It arrives fully covered and zipped together, so you don’t need to do any assembly outside of removing it from the vacuum seal packaging. The steps themselves are a soft textured durable microfiber on the tops and sides with a thinner material with grippy dots on the bottom of each step. All the covers can be removed to be washable, which is ideal. At first, I tried the full 5-step stairs next to our couch and my cat used it, but it was taller than we needed. I removed the smallest step at the top and she liked it even better. That meant she could climb the steps and then loaf on the top one, level with us but on her own little platform. Bonus I realized that smallest top step made an excellent lap pillow for me to rest my journal on while writing. Sadly, that didn’t last because it still took up too much room in our living room and made my husband crazy. Thankfully, it is customizable. Back to the drawing board I went!In the end, I moved the top 4 steps to the bedroom to replace a bulky makeshift combination step stool. I was able to combine them in a unique way to be functional for her and take up less space. I slid the longer two (zipped together) backward under the bed half way, so they were flush with each other on the part that stuck out. I then popped the upper two steps on top, set back just a few inches. It mimics a total of 3 steps, with the lowest one starting higher up. It works perfectly for my cat, she has no problem getting up to the first level, and it takes up a lot less room. Because I’ve chosen a non-standard arrangement, I can’t zip the top and bottom sets to each other, but it’s not necessary, because of the microfiber texture, they grip each other well enough to hold together. Separately, I slid the remaining largest step under our low kitchen sofa and coffee table, so the middle of it is showing in the space between them. This replaced another makeshift item she can use to get up on the couch without taking up too much room in our apartment.Bonus, the foam is dense so it doesn’t squash down when my 15lb cat uses them, she barely makes an impression. They do squish down when I use them, but I still can use them, which is great because our room is small and cramped and I have limited options to get down myself lol, and they bounce back almost immediately. The price already seems a little on the high side for what it is, especially compared to other options on the market, so I was disappointed that one of the connecting zippers wouldn’t re-zip after I took them apart once. I didn’t have trouble with any of the other zippers, so it’s not a case of doing it incorrectly, I just couldn’t get the zip to pull after 5-10 full minutes of fussing with it. They work well even without being able to zip that one section, but that’s only because it’s a middle step, it would be a real issue if all of the zippers were broken. Bad zipper + higher price point = minus one star.

Worked better than a ramp. Configurations and portability is pretty good!
I picked these up because I have a senior cat who will benefit and two younger cats who would love to adventure on these stairs or maybe even lounge on them.I did have a ramp that I bought for an ailing senior cat a couple of years ago and the angle and texture of that was not well received. By comparison, having the ability to arrange and configure this brand is what had me pick up this type this time and it is a much better experience than a ramp or static pet stairs.I like that I can move the stair parts anywhere in the house and add or remove steps on it to get it to just the right height wherever it goes. The portability factor is great. The configurations that can be made are nice options to be able to work with so things are just right. The dimensions of the individual steps works for our home and our needs. The color is neutral enough and looks nice. I have not needed to wash these just yet, but the fabric is durable if your pet doesn’t go crazy thinking it is some kind of a toy.It will take a while for them to fluff up. Minimal need to air out so that it can be used fairly shortly after opening the package to get it set up.I am happy to add this to my home. We will get a lot of use out of these stairs!

    My dog actually uses them!
I have an older Shetland Sheepdog who doesn’t have the greatest hips in the world, and while he can still jump up on the couch sometimes he sits at my feet crying because he wants to nap next to me. I’ve tried a bunch of different stairs and he’d never use them, some to the extent that he was clearly afraid of them. I got the 4 piece version of this because it comes just even with the couch surface, and once he gave them a try he now zips up and down them like they were always there. They also are firm enough to make a half decent place to rest your feet. I have tried like heck all week to get a picture of him using them, but he’s fast on them! Size is good, firmness is good (like firm memory foam.. there’s a little “give” but it’s solid enough to support my dog no problem without being too squishy. Also I think if he fell on them he’d be fine.) The coior matches our couch even, which was a happy accident. If you have a smaller dog I think they’d like these.. my Sheltie is right about at the limit but they still work great for him. I’m very pleased with these, as is my buddy who can now jump up to snooze while I watch TV.

Soft stairs that my 10+ year old dogs can use
I removed the very bottom level of the 5 level stairs and it is the perfect size for my small dogs to get up on my couch. Even my blind, deaf 16 year old teacup chihuahua was able to climb 2 of the stairs, but I had to help her down because she didnt know where to go; all of our other stairs just have 2 levels, but they are much taller than these.stairs are sturdy and built well. zippers are easy to use to assemble or take apart levels. I like that each level has a rubber-like bottom so you can use each step on its own. the only adjustment I would make is to make them a little wider; they are a little more narrow than the other stairs that we have.
