Great toys!!!
These are a huge hit in my house. I have several cats and these fish are hotly contested and hoarded. They hold up well to abuse, keep their charming good looks, and are kind of fun to see when strewn all around the house. (I did have to perform emergency stitching on one when someone with sharp teeth managed to break the thread in one of the seams, but the repair was easy and successful and the fish was soon back in use and is holding up just fine. To be totally honest, a cat is a top predator with teeth and claws designed for such use, so nothing could withstand constant abuse without some affect.) I usually wake with at least one on my bed, and I often find them stashed in my office chair, the shower, my shoes, and other weird places. And better yet, I think they are cute–I don’t mind seeing them everywhere or having to share my chair and bed with them. This was the second set I’ve bought. I didn’t need to – the first set has held up for over a year, but I shared a couple of them with some ferals that live in my neighborhood and my indoor cats were feeling cheated. I’m glad to say the ferals haven’t been able to tear their fish up. I watch them playing with their fish all the time, and I constantly run across them in the driveway or stashed under a bush or piece of lawn furniture in the back yard. We’ve been having a harsh winter and the outdoor fish are holding up to rain, snow and sub-zero temps like champs. All my felines agree these fish are a good deal and great toys!

The catnip smell lured my cats in and they loved rabbit kicking them! I have a cat that loves to chomp and he adores sinking his canines into these cute fish!

Interesting but not favorite kitty toy
My cat likes this toy. He seems to enjoy it most when he’s already stimulated by catnip or playtime because it is the perfect length for him to hold onto with this front paws and karate kick with his back paws in his moments of intense excitement. Otherwise, they don’t get much playtime from him. They don’t seem to have a distinct amount of catnip like the banana or carrot he loves, which is probably why he doesn’t select them as often. They do seem to be holding up well to his occasional, aggressive play – something I didn’t expect for the price.

Cats are obsessed!
My cats are obsessed with these toys. I can get them to play without fail with these fish. The durability is fairly good. I have a kitty who prides himself in destroying any toy. It takes him about a week to destroy these. He’s adamant and consistent with his chewing.

Scent gone
After just 2 days scent was barely there. Neither of my cats are interested and I think this is why. These are cute but definitely not enough catnip scent.

Cat absolutely loves these. I keep them in a Ziploc bag so they maintain their scent and then I just bring it out for a treat and she goes crazy—biting it chewing on it and using her thumper feet. Recommend! They’re sturdy!!

Overall my cats like these toys, it is nice that it comes with four fo you can have your cats share or keep some for a later time! They were really interested at first (I don’t know if maybe it had a smell at first and it doesn’t now? Couldn’t smell anything but maybe they did) but they LOVE the noise those fish makes ! It’s not a bell noise like the bell on cat collars (hate that noise) it’s not annoying and when I shake the toy and interact with them, they want to play with it, otherwise they wont go for it in there toy basket!I would give those a 3.5/5 because they are cheap, they seem to be durable (cat kicker) and they adore the noise and I don’t mind it (win/win) Maybe i’ll try to spray some catnip to see if that works !
