Works incredibly well, strong clumping, exceptional odor control
I have never really had strong opinions one way or the other on cat litter. As long as it works, is affordable, and clumps well, I am usually happy. So I was pretty amazed when I first used tofu based litters and realized how much better they were. I had a cat with chronic bronchitis and asthma that was aggravated by the dust in her litter and started searching for more natural, less dusty options. I settled on tofu-based litters due to their strong clumping ability and lack of dust. The only issue that ever stood out was the lack of odor control in comparison to traditional clumping litters. THIS litter fixes that problem totally. It has all the good points of tofu based litters while having excellent odor control as well. This litter contains a really interesting and effective mix of various litter media. The largest amount are the usually small capsule shaped tofu pieces, but there is also bentonite clay and carbon for odor control and clumping. This makes it works so well while still being natural and dust free. There is an added scent but it is not super strong or annoying. It just works really well and its still quite affordable in price due to how long it lasts. The one odd thing is the little bits of “littermate deodorant” because they are a very dark scarlet in color. I did not notice them at first and when I went to clean the box, I thought I was initially looking at blood. Thankfully its just the dye in the deodorant portion, but be aware of this and don’t scare yourself like I did.

Cat used this right away. Moderate odor control but product has an odd smell.
I was surprised by how quickly my cat took to this tofu litter. Usually they are resistant to tofu/pelleted litter and will prefer the clay, but she went and used this as soon as I filled up the box. 1 bag will cover the bottom of a medium/large litter box, but you will probably need 2 bags for better coverage. As far as tofu litter goes, it’s definitely a great product. It makes congealed clumps that are easy to scoop and it does a pretty good job at making the litter box odor not so apparent. The only problem I have with it is the really funky weird smell when I’m scooping the box. I can’t really place what it is, it’s not a stink per se, but more of a vegetative odor I haven’t smelled from other tofu litter brands. It definitely doesn’t track very much which is the main reason I use litter like this. If you are wanting to test the waters with tofu litter, this is a great brand/blend to start out with. Just be aware that this tofu does have it’s own unique odor and might not be appealing to everyone.

    A little pricey
Nice, easy to scoop and kitties like it, but one bag was barely enough for one box and it’s pricier than alternatives. No smell, pretty good clumping and absorbency

    High Quality Clumping Litter
As soon as I filled my cats’ litter boxes with this tofu litter, they were immediately drawn to their boxes to check it out.I was stunned by the clumping factor of this litter. It clumps exceptionally well for speedy and efficient scooping. I have noticed less odor from the litter boxes, much more so than using scented cat litters from big box stores. I am very impressed with the quality of this litter, and it works very well with no protest from my cats.Because the clumps don’t blend as much as they do with regular clumping litter, I do find that I have to scoop twice a day. This litter is, however, an excellent value for the money. We will be repeat customers!

Fantastic litter, great odor control, low mess/dust
Woo-whee is cat litter getting expensive, I think this one is an ok price, sort of in the middle of the “Tofu” type litters. I’ve become a big fan of the tofu litters actually, much better than clay, sand, or even the wood pulp ones. This one is a very good quality, too, maybe my new favorite. There’s virtually NO dust (a big plus), it clumps very well, and it has added charcoal to help with odors. It does track a little though is easier to clean up than the standard litters by far (doesn’t disintegrate unless wet etc). This filled my large litter pan without any to spare but should last 2 weeks or so (I scoop like 2-3 times a day). If it was a tad cheaper I’d buy again for sure! I can highly recommend it though, it’s just a fantastic litter!

    Good Tofu Litter
I’m a big fan of tofu litter and have been using various brands for several years now. It’s virtually dust-free, fairly lightweight, and good for the environment. It lasts, too. This brand, Pawchoy, is new to me. It’s shaped like large sand grains, so cats who may be unused to tofu litter are more likely to accept it than the extruded rice shape that’s most common. It’s a medium gray color, more like sand, as well. However, it behaves a lot like regular tofu litter. It clumps together very well. The cost is the same as other tofu litters. It’s odorless, traps cat smells well, and as long as you keep it clean (I scoop twice daily) lasts better than clumping sand.Four stars because, in my opinion, the long-grain rice-shaped litter seems to last a little longer. And, frankly, I prefer the white to near-white color of other brands because it makes it easy to see and clean in low-light areas. But this is the perfect choice for cats who resist change.

    Great cat litter
This tofu cat litter is easy to use and nearly dust free. It absorbs well and is easy to scoop. I like mixing this with my regular litter (about 50/50). It also seems to help keep odors down. This is a great quality product!
