Definitely for small cat or kitten.
I honestly really love this bed design and look. However, the wood used is very light weight. You will probably need something to anchor it down with something. Maybe screw it down to a larger heavier piece of wood. I love that the exposed wood is unfinished so it you want you could stain or paint it to match your decor. Best part. No carpet!! Overall, what I expected for the price.
