I tried to hide these until Christmas but was unsuccessful! My cats love them. Nice to have a bunch so you don’t have to move bureaus when one gets lost.

Fun for all cats; not much of a catnip smell; easy to play with.
These catnip-filled mice have a faux fur body, a hand-crocheted cap with a bell on the end of it, and a wire tail. You receive six per package. They arrived neatly packaged in a clear, plastic, sealable bag. The first thing I noticed when I took one out of the bag was that there wasn’t much of a catnip smell to them. I rolled it around in my hand to attempt to activate the catnip but even after that, I could barely smell the enclosed catnip.I gave one to the first of my cats. She is younger and more playful so I thought she would appreciate the mouse the most. She ignored it for the longest time. I believe she did this because there isn’t a lot of catnip for her to be triggered by. After me dragging it around and tossing it up in the air for a bit, she finally became engaged with the mouse for a few minutes. She ended up leaving it behind a box and hasn’t returned to it since then.My oldest cat found the toy mouse, played with it for a couple of minutes, and then left it at the edge of my blanket as if she had caught something just for me. She tends to do this with most of her toys. Since then, she hasn’t looked at the mouse at all.I’m afraid the lack of catnip odor is deterring my cats from playing with these mice. I am hoping they will change their minds later on. I would still recommend these toys to someone simply because every cat is different. As they say, mileage may vary. Your cat may like these mice so much more than mine did.
