No catnip, instead each toy has a squeaker. Very cute, but our cats aren’t really interested.
Our cats enjoy water play, but neither was interested when I had only these out in their kitty tub. They only bothered to come check it out once I added in their robotic fish that move and even then, they only briefly sniffed & swatted these new floaty toys before ignoring them for the other toys. This is no fault of the toys, cats are just picky that way.However, I had specifically chosen to order these since they were supposed to be filled with catnip, which was mentioned in the product description both at the time of ordering and now still at time of writing this review. Upon holding these up to a light, they look pretty empty to me and my cats, who go crazy for catnip, have had no such reaction to these toys. They do float well, but with no alluring catnip smell, these just aren’t as interesting to our cats as their moving fish toys.I also wasn’t expecting each of these toys to have a squeaker in them. I couldn’t find it mentioned anywhere on the product page, unless that’s what “Sensory Stimulation” under “Specific Uses for Product” is referring to. Otherwise, the water creature shapes are very cute and vibrant, a perfect match for what you see in the product pictures.The lack of catnip and the loud squeakers make me think that these might be better suited for dogs rather than cats, but I suppose some cats may find them appealing. These are small toys so that too would make them more ideal for cats or smaller dogs since big dogs could probably swallow these whole.This set is very reasonably priced so it’s a good deal if your cat, or maybe more likely, your small dog, would enjoy squeaky water toys. I’ll still put these out when we have the cat tub out since they do get an occasional swat from our boys, I just wish they had catnip instead of squeakers.

high quality, squeaks, bright colors
tried to use this in order to help my cat like bath time more. She got rehomed to me and she has been bathed before but never liked it. She totally ignored them. That being said, they are well made, decent value at 7.99 for 6 pieces, and each one squeaks. I’ll see if maybe she’ll play next time if I just leave them there and it’s not bath time
