Purchased this to hang vertically to shade a bbq area that was in the direct Florida sun. It functioned well for about 6 months and then the reflective material started to “disappear.”When I went to hang it this spring, almost all the aluminum fabric is gone. It does not reflect or block the sun. A little pricey for 2 seasons of use.

I use to cover my rain barrels from the sun. Used to get really hot. Now even on the worst days is a lot cooler than before. It is a little more delicate than hoped but does work great.
