Seems better for bigger dogs
My little dog doesn’t seem to care about this but my bigger dog does! It might just be a personal thing and not as dependent on size, as she does tackle treats that her half her size. She just doesn’t really know what to do with this. But my other dog loves it and it keeps him very busy. I think this is one of those things that just depends on the specific dog and what they like to chew on. I’m not sure on the cost of these things but it seems a little bit pricey and more than I would normally spend on something like this.

Splinters into toothpicks very quickly
Had high hopes for this eco-friendly coffee wood dog chew, but how quickly that changed as we watched the splinters drop around her. Now we know that dogs will eat branches, and branches will produce splinters, however when you see them around your pup, it can be a bit concerning. I tried to tamper my wife’s concerns, however we decided to pass on this toy. Now in defense of the manufacturer of the toy, they do state that there will be splinters, and to monitor your pet while they chew the toy. I appreciate all efforts made on their part and the attempt to provide eco-friendly toys for our pets.

Splinters made my dog sick
I was really disappointed with this. Despite being advertised for “regular chewers,” the toys splintered almost immediately. The sharp pieces posed a choking hazard and, worse, made both of my dogs sick after they ingested small fragments. I expected a safer, more durable product, especially one marketed as eco-friendly and suitable for dental health. Unfortunately, this product did more harm than good. I wouldn’t recommend it to any pet owner.

Dog loved but…
My puppy loves each and every piece in this set. They kept him entertained. But the wood is easily splintered and shredded and it gave him some stomach problems swallowing pieces while he was chewing. The rope, again he loves but they leave a huge mess all over the house. If I had a patio or outdoor area maybe these would be fine out there, but they were a huge task to clean up indoors.

Sheepadoodle Approved!
Our pup immediately took to these natural coffee wood chews. Although our Miniature Sheepadoodle is only 22 lbs., she is AN AGGRESSIVE chewer! She gets bored easily so we keep her engaged with IQ Puzzles, Dog Buttons, Doggy toys, Snuffle Mats, and dog chews. We’ve never tried coffee wood chews & am so glad we ordered this set. The set comes with an assortment of eco-sustainable toys in different varieties & so far, she’s loved them all. She’s only had the large coffee wood bark for a less than a full day & has already put a big dent in it. The set comes vacuum sealed so when we opened it, it smelled & looked very fresh. The toys have a nice, fresh earthy smell. I was afraid of splinters for her, but when she chews on it, the fibers that come off are actually very soft & easily digestible. I am so thrilled because she keeps busy for long periods of time taking turns chewing on the assortment of dog chews. As a dog lover, and one who is probably too overly protective of what we allow our dog to consume, chew or play with, I feel confident recommending this dog chew set to other furry friends!

Seem great
Sadly my dog is not a fan, but these seem to be pretty high quality toys. My cats enjoy chasing the jute ball around, and my dog will sometimes play tug with the toy. But as much as she likes to chomp on sticks she just hasn’t shown much interest in them.They came nicely packaged and feel very fancy. Would be an awesome gift for a less picky pooch.

Crumbles under heavy chewing
My 70 lb doodle reduced these to a pile of crumbles in record time. Not for heavy chewers! Take care because of the crumble factor. Market priced

nice quality set
Love that these toys are made from sustainable products and this 4 pack was a big hit with my stick and rope loving boxer. She’s very hard on toys and these are all still in tact and very durable. With 4 toys included I think the price is fair and the quality and durability is well worth the cost. My only negative share which may or may not be a concern for some is that rope toy which is a ball at one end and a ‘handle’ at the other is also a noose and could pose a safety concern.
