My dog will not wake me up at 5 am anymore and its great
Now i have to buy SEVERAL of these because it broke or arrived broken. HOWEVER worth it for the sleep. its a simple design that is on timer. i dont recommend the digital models, this is way easier and works better. overall good for my dog. he is small so his portion sizes are also small. The built in area for ice packs (included) genius. I will buy another when i break this.

Only lasted a few months
I loved this one. I first got it. But within just a couple of months, once I stopped working altogether, and the other side is not incredibly reliable. This is unacceptable because I need it for when I am not home to feed my cat, so That his food is going to be available.

Ice packs are NOT as pictured
Part of the reason I purchased this feeder is bc my cat only eats wet food and demands it early! I’ve tired the PetnessGo and its hit or miss. Mostly miss. This one was supposed to include real freeze packs. I received plastic pouches. See pic. The dial is easy enough to turn, but the marks are not “hours,” I think they are 30 minutes. Very difficult to figure out where to set it as there is so much “play” in the dial. I contacted the seller and the one with the hard ice packs is no longer available. If you’re looking for that one, like I was, forget it. So far its been opening daily at all different times. Not sure if this is going back or not. Disappointed.

Finally an auto feeder that’s easy and works
First off, this is the one feeder my ole senior dog hasn’t tried to destroy! In the past, he was tempted to try and pry open other ones but for some reason he doesn’t harass this feeder and eats when it pops open. Nothing digital about it. A knob timer and single battery (that lasts a long time) and you’ll know it’s working when you hear the tic tic.Ice pack: great and fits. Absolutely no way this will last 12 hours let alone 48 as claimed. So if you’ve got some wet food that needs to be dispensed cold at a later time, this isn’t it. Actually, I don’t think any of these ice packs can last that long anyway. It’s not like the trays are mini cooler quality. It has kept our dog’s food coldish up to 4 hours. By then the ice pack has already melted. I don’t set it above 5 hours nor do I leave cold meats in it. So if you’re buying any of these thinking it will last half a day…I’d look in to a trusted family member or friend to feed your pet instead. Its great for when we have dinner out or errands but will be back within 5 hours. And I’m talking about leaving this in room temperature. I’m sure colder or warmer weather will shorten or lengthen the duration of the ice pack. Other than that, happy with this feeder that finally serves our purpose.

Great for times away
This is a great addition to my kitty’s feeding plan. He eats anything I leave for him immediately so this helps in timing his meals so he doesn’t gobble it up all at once. It is durable enough that he can’t open it himself. (He was able to open the closed and locked compartments of his last feeder timer.) The food area is big enough for 2 scoops of his dry kibble. I like that with the ice/cool pack space built in (and the packs included to cool the food) under the bowls, that I can also leave him wet food for later. It makes a clock ticking noise that he doesn’t like, so I leave it away from his usual sleeping areas. Now I don’t have to rush home when it’s his precious “food time.”

Design Flaw – Will Eat Batteries
This works fine, as advertised, BUT the timers will continue to tick away whether set or not. (Any intelligent design would have had it completely stop when it hits ‘0’ and pops open). SO, if you are continually using and resetting it, ‘no problem’, but if you are only using it occasionally, or for a few hours while away, batteries are being used 24/7 for no reason…

The product still works, the lids open up and everything. But the numbers are disappearing and we don’t even wash that part of the product. It has only been 1 month since the purchase. That tells me it’s cheaply built so not sure when it will completely stop working.
