very versatile steps
Recently I had to have back surgery and needed to elevate my dog’s cage so I could still let them in and out. These steps are perfect for that situation, allowing an adjustment of however many steps are needed for them to make the climb. My dogs are both dachshunds, one weighing 12 pounds and the other weighing 14. They are still puppies and not kind to most of my furniture, and they RUN up and down these steps with free abandon like wild puppy banshees. The steps hold their weight just fine. I appreciate the zipper-together functionality that keeps the five portions of the steps secure. The zippers operated smoothly and I experienced no jamming. A small bonus I didn’t realize was so exceptional; the zippers are the same color as the side fabric. The non-skid bottom surface is especially useful for anyone with non-carpeted floors. While these steps do not have a handle, the steps can easily be picked up and carried by the small pocket that covers the zipper cushion. The steps themselves are very sturdy. The interior foam is solid and squared-off within the exterior cloths. I appreciate that the separate sections are sturdy enough to be used individually. The steps themselves are a little narrow, and may be more difficult for larger dogs to use comfortably, but for my two little dogs they are fine. I use three steps for their pen, which gives them a nice landing for the top step, and two steps for the low couch. The versatility of these steps is impressive and a must-have for households with small animals.

Easy to clean and super convenient
These adjustable pet steps are exactly what I needed for my small dog to safely get on and off the bed. The 5-stair design is perfect, and I love that they zip together easily. They feel sturdy once assembled but isn’t bulky or awkward to move. The removable covers are a lifesaver! My pup tracks in fur and the occasional paw print, so being able to unzip and toss them in the wash makes a big difference. Plus, the steps have just the right amount of softness and grip, comfortable for pets, but not too squishy. When they aren’t in use, I’m able to unzip the levels and store it under my bed.Whether your dog’s older, small, or just loves climbing up to cuddle, these steps are a great, low-stress solution. Highly recommend for both pets and their humans! 🐶❤️

Excellent steps… for small pets
These steps are fantastic for two of my three dogs. The two that are roughly 15 pounds. As a rough estimate, I would say the steps are probably good for pets up to maybe 25-30 pounds or so. Beyond that, the foam is simply too soft to support their steps with any stability.Having said that, nearly everything else is excellent. The cover has a silky, velour-like texture, except for the bottom, which is some type of plastic fabric (polyester maybe?) with some thin, non-slip graphics applied. Each step easily attaches or detaches from the others with zippers, creating a good mechanical connection. The zippers feel solid, and work well. Each step has its own zippered cover, which should make cleaning easier, especially if any “accidents” are limited to only certain steps.Everything looks and feels high quality, with solid craftsmanship. Seems like it should last a long time. That includes the foam, but I do feel that it should be a significantly more dense formulation. My only other gripe would be the price. It seems to be common practice with pet steps to price them rather steeply (in my opinion), and these are no exception. Relative to other options, the value for money, or bang for the buck, is pretty close to par for the course. But realistically, these steps, and most other options, should probably be about 40-50% less expensive.Bottom line though, if you don’t mind the price, and have smaller pets, these are some excellent steps!

Our senior pup has independence again
Our 18 year old llasapoo has had trouble with stairs for years. His paws grow fur between his pads, making him more slip prone going up and down stairs or ramps. So for sofas and beds, he’d jump off directly to the floor to avoid using them. But with a longer body and age related back issues, that could no longer be an option. With these stairs, he started regaining confidence in using stairs again. From the thick cushions, zippered steps to the soft fabric, now even our cats use it to get up on our patio furniture or sun on the upper steps. These steps are longer than others we have which helps a lot. Gives him more surface to sit or stand before reaching the next step. These steps have given him the ability to come and go – get on the sofa or go inside on his own. He’s happier now being able to cuddle with us anytime or just lay in the sun on the patio ottoman.

Doesn’t work for my 54# dog.
Great idea to have stairs for your dog, but it just didn’t work for my situation. Each step is attached with zippers so they can be removed or added for different height needs. The fabric is very soft, and seems durable, but it feels like the steps are made of foam, which crushes under my dogs weight and became unstable, as she climbed up. I still had to help her up, anyway, so for me, it doesn’t work for my 54# pup. Due to the softness of the fabric, I feel this would be better suited for inside the house.
