Eight years later and fault use, still going strong.
I am posting this after eight years because I amGetting a new one to donate my current one to a shelter. Nothing is wrong with the crate and no issues with the zipper. My dog loves being in here and doesn’t make any attempts to escape, so that is the only issue I can see for other dogs who don’t want to be crated. I adopted my dog from the shelter eight years ago and he was terrified of wire crates. I tried for months to get him used to one and nothing worked. When this crate arrived, it was immediately his safe space. He loves his crate and chooses but will also happily go inside if asked. It has also made traveling with him a breeze. The only issue is he gets SO mad when I collapse it when I need to pack it in the car. I take the cover off to wash it a few times a year. I had bigger one at first (dog is 50lbs mix) but, I gave that away as he preferred this size. More cozy, but he still has lots of room. Just ask the cat who sneaks in.

    Great kennel!
This kennel has been great for my growing German Shepherd puppy. He is 73 lbs. at 7 months and still growing. He sleeps in it every night. We’ve travelled with it a few times and it’s easy to set up and break down. You’ll need to get a bed or pad, because it doesn’t come with one. We put a box fan in front of it to keep my pup nice and cool. He loves it!

My puppy’s happy so I’m happy.
I recently moved to a new location and my senior dog was having anxiety issues every time I’d leave the house.I thought this might give him a sense of comfort having a small private space to retreat to.For the first few months he wouldn’t go near it.For some reason one day he decided to venture inside. On his own.Although he has 2 other comfortable beds, he now spends most of his time in the comfort of his personal bedroom.I bought a mattress pad to place inside and he is quite content.I haven’t used it for travel as of yet, however It is extremely easy to break down and reassemble.

Hard to zip top zipper door
The top zipper door is tight to zip, barely had enough give in the fabric to zip. And it takes some muscle to pop it up. If those issues were fixed I would give this 5 stars. Material is great and sturdy

    Reliable and sturdy dog crate
Needed a sturdy, portable dog crate. This was the best value! Super reliable, looks good, and my Border Collie loves it. With his bed and blanket, he has plenty of room to stand, sit, and relax during trips. Highly recommended!

Not Suitable for Strong Chewers!! My dog got free.
I want to start by saying that for a small dog or an older dog, this crate would probably be perfectly fine for short periods. I do want to highlight a positive which is that the poles inside are extremely sturdy and the setup is very easy. However; I did purchase this crate in particular because of the positive reviews regarding its durability and the size, since I have a German Shepherd/Husky mix (7 months old). The first time he used this crate, wonderful. The second use? See the attached photos. There were toys in the crate but he decided instead to chew his way to freedom; which he did successfully. Thank GOD the crate was in a room with a closed door and he did not ingest anything while he was roaming around free. But that could have been a very dangerous situation… there are wires, food, and other items he could’ve gotten ahold of after he freed himself by eating his way through the material. We were LUCKY. He was in there for 2 and 1/2 hours and who knows how little time it took him to get out. If we had used this to go camping, he would be gone by the time we woke up. Seriously do not consider this item if you know your dog is an aggressive chewer. Amazon support was very helpful with this but I don’t want anyone to end up in my position- not for high energy breeds with heavy chewing ability.

    Game Changer!
This crate was a game changer for my dog. He previously had a seatbelt and was clipped in but had too much wiggle room to move around in my back seat and after researching I realized he might be having additional anxiety due to too much opportunity to move. I switched to this collapsable crate and not only do I feel much safer driving without him racing back and forth in the back seat but I do believe it has provided him more security and comfort. It look a little bit for him to get used to but it is one of my favorite purchases. I am glad he will also be safer if an accident occurs.

Easy to pack up and travel with. Our dog loves it!
A must have when traveling with our large dog! Easy to put up and take down- our dog enjoys being in it when we travel it is a win win! Easy to clean, can hold a mat and blanket when closet up for traveling. Bought a second one after 9 years and the quality is great. It is lightweight and our go to!!

  9. Very dissatisfied and disappointed

Crate has ripped after not long using it. zips get caught.

Exactly what I needed! We’ve had big wire crates for our two dogs and they don’t get used much, but we still wanted something for car travel and the occasional use in the house, decided to get these. I love how sturdy they are, but light, and easy to fold up and put away.

vous voulez une cage ou un parc de déplacement ? celui la est génial, pliant , solide et il y a plusieurs tailles

This crate is very sturdy and is so easy to use and pick up to transport. Our dog has never used crate but needed one for agility training. We quickly trained him to use it. He now “goes to jail” quickly and calmly lies in there until he is given his release command. Great to get him to calm down . Would definitely buy again if needed.
