Clean, smooth, no drag cutter
This blade cut very nicely right out of the package. Most off brand blades do not.The description says that each blade is tested before packaging and therefore may have some synthetic fur trimmings on it. While I didn’t see any hairs I believe that this blade was tested and properly adjusted before packaging. So many blades don’t cut well out of the package because no one bothered to test and oil/adjust them properly.The only thing that I changed on this blade was the tension which was set a bit high for my taste. High tension causes unnecessary heat on the blade and wear and tear on your clipper.My adjustment was so small that I’m not going to lower my rating.This ceramic blade is a great buy for the price.

Great clipper blade
This blade is great. For slightly longer cuts. It has a ceramic cutter in addition to the stainless side that you see. I feel the ceramic stays sharp for longer. Fits great. Would recommend.

Wouldn’t fit
Wouldn’t fit down on my clippers. My clippers are brand new so it’s not them. Not sure what the issue was.

Great blade to go with my wahl machine. Half an inch is perfect length for a summer clip for the poodle. It performed well on a poodle gave a good clip.

The Apus Clipper A5 Blade – 13mm (Size 3F) – comes professionally packaged and looks good. It fits my Andis AGC clipper well, being easily interchangeable. However when using it on my dog the blade squeaked a little as the ceramic blade moved back and forth and the blade quickly became caught in my dog’s longer hair where the hair is more thick. It did correctly trim hair that was only a little longer than the blade was designed to cut but it seemed to struggle with any thicker and longer areas. This left me wondering whether it has the necessary sharpness.
