It works
It works pretty good, I used to trim my cat’s claws and this made it like 3x easier and quicker. I followed the instructions on the Amazon listing (kind of bizarre the product itself doesn’t come with instructions) and my orange tabby cat practically just crawled into it himself. It’s fairly secure and I managed to get each paw out individually to clip them.

FYI on Pet Size
Note: I did NOT measure our cat before ordering this. Our tabby cat is approximately 16 inches long measuring from the base of the neck (top of shoulder) to the base of the tail. She would only fit into the bag nearly curled in half. We actually didn’t end up closing the bottom ties because she would have been really squished. Other than that it worked well. Tabby is 5 yrs and calmer so that went very easily. 9 month Main Coon kitten did not approve of the entire adventure but we got him bagged and clipped and we didn’t lose any blood! Really helps to have two people – one to do the ties while the other contains the pet. All in all a great buy! Be sure to measure your pet’s body before ordering any grooming bag.

I don’t write reviews very often, but I felt the need to write one for this product. Our very strong-willed cat gets ulcers on his tongue and inflammation his throat sometimes, and we have to give him a daily pill and if he’s not eating enough also supplement with kitten milk or Nutri Cal. He does not want to do any of these things. We used to try to wrap him in a cat burrito with a towel, and he would always manage to escape or bury himself inside the towel where we couldn’t get to him.Once we started using this bag, everything has become a thousand times easier. We first get his head through the head hole then shimmy it down over the rest of his body and pull the drawstring in the back. Once he’s in caterpillar form, he can’t escape or bury back inside the bag. It has a fleece lining inside, which helps keep claws at bay. We turned it inside out outwards and washed it with no issues. The only thing I can say is do not leave the cat unattended on the couch while you go get one more thing, because he can roll off and he will be annoyed. Haha. Other than that, he actually doesn’t want to come out of it right away at first sometimes, and we give him lots of cuddles before we take him out of the bag. I’ve recommended it to both friends and our veterinarian. Thank you!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
Worst product I have ever bought! My cat is very calm but did not like this product and struggled to get out. He managed to get his front leg through the same opening with his head and would have been strangled if I wouldn’t have cut it off of him. I will never suggest anyone buy this or anything like it.

Slightly disappointed
While the bag does exactly as promised, my cats hate it worse than the nail clippings. Since they have been getting regular nail clipping since infancy, and foot massages to make handling a pleasure for them, I don’t need it for that. I bought it to make 2x day medicine dosing less of a battle. But it is a battle getting him into to the bag, and because it doesn’t help the medicine dosing to be better, I just am dosing him without the bag. It would be SO much easier bagging him if there was a zipper on the top (across his back.) He has a vet appointment tomorrow; I am considering using the bag for transport.

Not useful for large cats
My cat is a large cat, he’s by no means gigantic, but a solid 12 pounds worth of cat. He does not fit in this bag. I did at one point manage to get his entire body in, but he could not squish his head out of the little head hole. We didn’t even get close to being able to put in the eardrops that the bag was intended for. We were still at the point of trying to reward him by giving him treats for going in the bag. After just the one in-the-bag experience, he takes off running down the hall if he sees the bag in my hands. This was definitely not worth the purchase for us.

Worth every penny
My cat got sick and needed medicine. I watched videos on how to use a towel to “burrito” the kitty in order to comfortably give him a pill. The reality of doing it was awful. I was worried I’d hurt him by pulling the towel too tight, or he’d slip out and accidentally hurt me in the process.It was stressful and sad for both of us.I came across this product (in tandem with the booties) and pill time changed. He doesn’t like it, but he’s calm. I can make sure it’s tight enough that he can’t get out without having to pull or potentially hurt him. I find after getting him in and giving him some head pets and cuddles, he relaxes so when we give him medicine it’s much quicker. There’s no scratching either!I *never* write reviews but this product has made a difficult time a little easier. I highly recommend and I hope it helps you.

It worked on my crazy cat
I do not have a normal cat. We found him as a feral kitten and we spoil him rotten, but he’s still very wild and hard to control. We gave up trying to trim his nails, but still keep trying. We have to pay 20 bucks a month for the vet to do it. I put him in this and I had to have a friend hold down his head so he wouldn’t bite. I trimmed one paw and then gave him a treat. He seemed much calmer when I trimmed his 2nd paw. Anyway, this would have been impossible without the grooming bag! Angry cat but very happy customer!

A barn cats do not like to had a bath or their nails cut and they are good behaviour but i had to ask my husband to help me with their nails cut but my husband it not with me for two weeks and the bag was a good idea for me

It didn’t quite work for what we planned it for which was brushing our cats teeth. He managed to weasel his way out of the bag pretty easily. It might work better for bath time though.

This product sucks just got it today try it out my cat got out of it it doesn’t stay tighten and they can still Scratch you Throw the bag. It is a bad quality.
