Decent winter gloves for the price
These gloves look great, and it’s nice to not have to take off a glove to use my phone’s touch screen. The outer layer doesn’t show a lot of wear after a few months’ use. The only downside to them is that the inner fleece-like lining has started to break down after a couple of months of daily wear. For the price, though, it would be worth replacing them halfway through winter if they get too worn out.

    Warmth And Versatility
Every year, around winter time, I’ve found myself going to stores and buying gloves that work with phone touch screens. Those gloves don’t tend to last very long for a very specific reason. They usually have significantly less fabric on your index and thumb finger tips, which results in uneven wear and tear. By comparison, the Atercel Gloves are fully padded everywhere. The Atercel Gloves grabbed my attention because it looked like they’d be warm and versatile. One of my concerns was the glove sizing, since my hands are big enough to palm an iPhone Pro Max, though my fingers are relatively thin. Deciding to go with the medium size was the best choice, because they wound up fitting perfectly. It’s important to note that if your hands are the same size as mine, but your fingers are thicker, you might need to go up one size to get the right fit. The medium size feels comfortable on my hands and the gloves have just the right level of tightness. The comfort, as well as the soft and plush padding made these gloves the best capacitive touch gloves I’ve ever had. They’re nicely stitched and well designed, with ample cushioning on the inside, so much so that your fingers will cover entire areas of your phone screen. In terms of the touch capabilities, the materials Atercel chose are conducive with every finger, not just your index and thumb fingers. Due to the padding, until you see things happening on your screen, you don’t really feel like your fingers are making contact with it all, though you’ll get used to that pretty quickly. From using these gloves with a smaller iPhone XS, as well my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the best way to use them is putting the stitched area of the gloves covering your finger tips directly on the screen. These gloves definitely worth getting. Knowing that they can be worn after DJing on a cold night gives me some peace of mind, given that they work perfectly on my car’s touch screen too. The Atercel Gloves are definitely a 5 star product, though it might take a little bit of time to be more comfortable using them on your phone.

    Runs big
These gloves are thick and warm, but they ran too big for my small hands. I had to give them to a friend as I was unable to wear them comfortably. Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws.2 Stars: Do not buy. Better than a 1 Star, but still has major downsides.3 Stars: Buy if you can’t find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. Warm, medium duty gloves
These gloves are great. We had a multi-day snowstorm with temperatures in the teens over the past week. I was able to spend 20-30 minutes outside at a time, shoveling and using a snowblower, with very little effect to my hands and fingers. I was also able to answer my phone without removing them, as well as use the touchscreen in my car, so the claim of touchscreen compatibility of these gloves is valid. They do also hold up to the water-repellant claim – my fingers stayed dry during the many sessions of snow removal over the past few days. The fur lining is soft and luxurious, and it adds to the level of warmth. The gloves are fairly lightweight, and I found them to be true to size. For the price, these gloves a good value.

    Touchscreen Friendly, But Not Warm
These gloves are great for being touchscreen friendly, but other than that they do not help keep the hands warm. The fit is good as they fit my hands perfectly and also fit my 17 year old son. I was worried about warmth as they are on the thinner side and it was definitely a valid concern. While the lining inside is soft and they initially feel warm, in 40 degree weather these did nothing to help keep my fingers and hands warm. It was as if the cold cut right through them. Price is cheap so if you aren’t looking for something to keep you fingers from going numb they are great. They work great for my cell phone while texting and are touchscreen friendly. But the fall short on warmth which was a factor I was looking for when I purchased these.

Warm and allow me to use my phone
Ordered these because none of our gloves work with our phone screens! We went to the ICE show, and it was a godsend to have these to take pictures, because we saw many people taking off the gloves to use their phones, and it looked miserable for them. Also use these outside when shoveling to check the time, answer texts, etc. Very pleased to have gloves that fit well, keep my hands warm, and work with my phone.

Some of the reviews I seen noted they do not work well, I live in one of the coldest parts of Canada where most days between December and the end of February are in the -20 to -50 degree range. I don’t work outside but do a lot of travelling on the local public transportation system, these gloves work absolutely fine for what they are intended for. I think a lot of a what people were complaining about was that they do not retain heat very well, these gloves are by no means meant to be used as snowmobiling or work gloves, their relatively thin and don’t provide much insulation to harsh conditions. So if your hands are constantly outside with them on in -30 they are bound to get cold. With that being said they work great for commuting. If all you need is some hand protection for things like holding coffee’s or looking at your phone I think this is a great price friendly option for what you need. The gloves I purchased are relatively snug to my hands and allows me to use my phone with them on no problem. For reference with the gloves on I am still able to type text messages on an iPhone 13.
