The ice tray needs to be placed in line with the card slot, otherwise the feeder cannot be fully assembled, the transparent top cover cannot be closed, and the feed trough and lid cannot be aligned.

Can’t set the time of day or multiple days of feeding?
3 meals a day – can provide 2 days of feeding
Set up 3 feeding plans, such as 1- 9:00; 2- 13:00, 3- 17:00, just set up these 3 timing plans, put 6 meals of food, close the door of the first meal, the feeder will feed 3 times today according to the plan (1, 2, 3 troughs), and complete 3 feedings at the same time tomorrow (4, 5, 6 troughs). You do not need to re-operate the timing, just change and add food every 2 days.
2 meals a day – can provide 3 days of feeding
As described above, you only need to set up 2 feeding plans, such as: 1- 9:00; 2- 13:00, the feeder will provide 2 feedings a day, you only need to add food in time.

Note – Not serving food at 12:00 and 00:00 is not a fault!Cancel Feeding schedule – If the feeding time is set to “00:00″ or “AM12:00″ ,the feeding time will not be feed.Manually Feeding – Long press ” + ” to do the manually feeding once. I recently got me a kitten and he whines alot when he wants food. Even when his bowl isn’t empty he wants me to fill it up. I got this to set timers to release food at certain points so he stops whining to me all the time and it helped. Good size machine with good portions. Works well and easy to setcup. My husband tried to set this up while we were away for a bit, but it didn’t end up operating properly. I have to give it another shot to see if it really works. Although it comes with two ice packs, they are really only good for one day.

Large Capacity, Easy to Assemble, Difficult to Program
The overall look and function is perfect, the ice-packs are large enough to keep wet cat food chilled for hours while also being small enough to easily fit in the freezer without taking up much room. The sections come apart easily but also still clip together so its not going to fall to pieces if you lose your grip unlocking it. I appreciate the 6 compartments with large enough capacity that you can use this as a weekend 2 meal a day pet feeder. The safety feature is also a nice touch and does work, i tested it with my own finger to check the pressure before it stopped the rotation.The downside is that it is difficult to program, requiring you to push and hold small dual buttons and wait for a beep, for someone hard of hearing like myself this becomes an issue. Additionally if you make a mistake you have to completely cycle through all the other meal sets to get back to the one you made a mistake on. setting the meals is not intuitive at all either, I tried to create a 2 meal a day plan only to create a 6 meal play, which wouldn’t be such a big deal for a grazing feeder like my cat if the feeder retained the schedule indefinitely, however as soon as all 6 meals were cycled the feeder resets and leaves only the most recent meal open. My cat was not happy to have unlimited access to his food one day and zero access to his food the next.I feel if this feeder could just have an easy back button and the option to be on indefinitely it would be a stellar product. Still I appreciate that I can work overtime or spend a night out of town and not have to send my niece or nephew all the way over just to feed him.

Difficult to Program
This was going to be the answer to my prayers. I’m glad I checked it before leaving cats. It’s extremely difficult to Program and it missed a meal. I don’t know if it was human error or not but I don’t trust it to leave the cats alone for long unfortunately.
