The camera is everything!
This pet feeder on its own is fabulous, but the addition of the camera is what makes it stand out amongst the other pet feeders. It’s perfect because you can check on your furry friend throughout the day when they’re doing what they do best… Eating. This pet feeder was easy to put together and it works great. It’s got room to hold plenty of food and it’s versatile because it’s not only a feeder but kind of a pet sitter as well in that you can keep an watchful eye on them while you’re away. For the price it’s an amazing deal and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great pet feeder that’s equipped with a camera. Oh and by the way, the app it works with is fantastic too!

Camera function needs work
I bought this dog feeder before going on a weeklong vacation with my family. I normally have my sister stop by each day when we go on vacation, but thought this could give her a little bit of a break and she could skip a couple days. I also thought the camera would be great because my kids miss the animals while we’re gone. I thought since they’d be able to see them, it would help. In theory, it’s great. The app is user friendly. You can schedule feedings, or manually feed them. Note: one serving is about the equivalent of 20 pieces of kibble, so my medium dog takes about 10 servings. The thing I don’t like about the product is the camera placement. As far as I can tell, it is right next to where the food comes out and the dog’s face blocks the entire camera while eating, so you just see a patch of fur. On top of that, there is no lighting on it, so we ended up asking my sister to set up a lamp next to it so that we could see anything through the camera. I ended up keeping because I liked the functionality of the app, but the camera is sort of pointless as it doesn’t work as intended.

Dosnt stay connected to WiFi. Not ideal if you’re using it for a vacation.
I saw other reviews that said it needed to be closer to the wifi router to work, so I got an extender, and then moved it to right next to the box once that didn’t work, and it still won’t stay connected so I can’t utilize the camera to change feeding times from not at home.

It’s ok
I bought this because there are days where I’m hardly home and I liked the camera feature so I could make sure my cat had enough food. Well, once you set the feeding schedule in the app you can’t charge it. I’ve tried multiple times to increase the amount it releases on the schedule and I’ve tried to change the time, and nothing changes. I’ve tried to use the camera to see if she’s got food in her bowl, it never works. Also, the “scheduled” times you set up…. The feeder just decided to feel exactly 1 hour early. While this product does work, it’s doesn’t work like it is suppose to. I would not recommend this as I’m sure there are others in this price point that do what they are advertised to do.
