Loves it
My dog isn’t quite a year, so much fun with toys. Easy to use ,recharges, great toy.

Mine was defective, rope not as long as shown and is useless.
Fully charged toy, turned it on and it wouldn’t go into sleep mode. Then it started making grinding noises, gears hosed up or something. As others have stated, rope nowhere near as long as in images, all ya get is a couple knots at the top of the toy if installed as instructed. Seeing other’ reviews, tried to get a replacement but was only allowed refund with return. Seemed like a fun toy. Wish I had same experiences as other said they had.

Noisy “cat” toy
Although this is advertised as a dog toy, I ordered this for my Maine Coon cat, who loves watching bouncy, noisy toys with attachments. As I expected, our large GSD doesn’t really have an interest, but the cat does take an avid interest in watching and batting at it. The toy does get a little annoying, though, for my husband and me to listen to, as it works its way toward and then constantly bumps against furniture and walls.

Hard outer shell makes this more durable, but still not great for aggressive chewers
This acorn shaped autonomous bouncing toy works similarly to the various soft-form bouncing toys, only it should be more durable for pups who are hard chewers. That said, even though the outer core is made of hard plastic, it still does not hold up to the toughest jaws.My dog is not an aggressive chewer, and as with other bouncing toys, this one also attracted and held his interest. What’s different is that this toys bounces and rolls and also blinks in a variety of colors, all adding to the fun factor. The toy comes with a thick cord that can be strung through the U-shaped handle at the top of the toy. My dog is not a big chewer, but I know he has destroyed similar cords on other bouncing toys. One nice thing about this ‘all in one’ device is that it is easier to charge than the soft form toys (where you have to remove the inner core before plugging it in). With this toy, you simply unscrew the two sides and you can readily see where to insert the power cord. The toy takes a few hours to fully charge, then holds the charge for a couple of days (in line with some of the top soft form toys, and far better than some of the middle and lower end soft form toys). Since the toy has a hard outer covering, it makes more noise when bouncing around your house. The packaging was minimalistic. The toy is attached to a cardboard sleeve, which was hastily wrapped inside a plastic bag. Not great esthetically, but effective for keeping any pieces together should there be any damage to the toy (there was not any damage to ours).Updated: My grand-pup is a heavy chewer, and recently visited, so I am adding this update based on how well this toy held up to his velociraptor’s jaw. Not great. Within the first five minutes, I had to remove the rope handle from the toy as he was already starting to shred it. Within the first half hour, he had managed to unscrew the toy, exposing the inner electronics. Not good. By the end of an hour and a half of play, the velociraptor puppy managed to completely destroy the toy – removing the plastic handle on top, pulling off the softer rubber top, and somehow sealing the top and bottom together through chewing. An hour and a half of play is a long time for this pup, so am keeping the five star rating, though with a definite warning to only give to aggressive chewers if closely supervised.

Not safe for labs…
So, the dog loved it, BUT literally chewed it into bits….who knows how much she swallowed. Sad but a waste of money. Gone and unsafe in less than an hour…

Fun toy
This thing is really cool. It charges using USB-C, which is really nice. While the acorn is apart, you press the button, then screw the acorn back together. It does the rest on its own. Your dog will go crazy with it and its motions. When it sits still for a little bit, it’ll go into a standby mode. And then if the dog bumps it the acorn will activate again. This thing is awesome. I would definitely recommend it and buy one again.

Disappointed
Dog does not really like it. Also, rope included with the toy was half the length than that in the image and took forever to attach because it was just too short. Toy is however rather durable, Labrador has not destroyed it yet which says a lot about it.

My Girl Loves It!!
My girl loves this toy. She is constantly asking me for it. Some of the way you end up tying the knot makes it so it doesnt roll well. With trial and error it comes around.
