Cozy little hideout for my Pomeranian
My little rescue Pomeranian is 12 pounds and this is on the small side for her.. but that’s what I wanted. She needed a cozy little hideout for thunderstorms and fireworks. I tried the Thunder Jacket thing and she hated that. This seems to be more comforting for her. When she walks out of it, it catches on her rear end and drags it a little before getting out of it completely but that’s because the hole is shorter than her. That being said, she has just enough room inside and will stay in there throughout an entire storm. Overall this was a good solution for us. It’s a little flimsy but not too bad.. it stays up as long as you don’t put anything too heavy on top of it. I tried to insulate it from the noise by putting a standard size pillow on top and that worked ok, it held up fine. It’s a nice little hideout for our girl.

Love the size and the zipper front
This is great for larger cats. I have a tall boy who doesn’t attempt to go into smaller cat caves, but he loves this “house”. Because it is longer (instead of a square), he is able to stretch out. And I LOVE that it has a zipper front. Anyone who has had to struggle to get their stubborn cat out of tight space knows what a huge deal this is 😉 If you have to get your cat out of this “house”, you just need to unzip the front and slide the cat out on the pillow.Note: When I got it, I put the entire thing into the washing machine and dryer, even though only the pillow case is supposed to be machine washed/dried. It held up well – same exact sturdiness as before I washed it. The only thing was that a lot of the rubber dots at the bottom came off and the color faded a bit (I am not complaining because it is not supposed to be machine washed/dried, just wanted to mention it). I would not machine wash it often because I definitely think that it would lose its structure over time, but for those who want to wash it at least once before using it, I wanted to let you know it held up for me.

It All Falls Down
I purchased this adorable-looking little pet house for my new chihuahua puppy to nap in. The picture makes it appear the walls of this little house are strong enough to keep it from sagging. This is fake news. The zippers are not strong at all and came unzipped very easily. The pillow included in the little house is nice and fluffy, and the handle on top of the house was a nice touch. Unfortunately, since it is so easy to collapse, the puppy continuously jumped on it and it was never able to hold a shape. We tried it as a sofa for a while using the pillow on top of the collapsed house, but was eventually tired of looking at it and tossed it after 24 days. So I’ll let you decide!

My Dog is Obsessed
I have a JRT, they are known to be a bit cheeky and high strung, ok let’s face it they are a pain. But this little igloo is the perfect hideaway for her. I actually put it inside her crate and she loves it so much that whenever she wants to nap she goes into the crate herself. It is dark and cozy which is what she loves. I love the peace and quiet it gives me!

Quality has really gone downhill from 2021 to 2022!
Dec 2022 update to my review: One of my dogs loved this dog cave so much I bought another for my 2nd dog. Oh my, the quality has really gone downhill! The “striped” one is flimsy, very thin foam in the walls, leans to one side, handle is off-center and crooked, fabric is wrinkled and it looks very cheap. What a contrast to the exact same one I bought a little over a year ago which is well constructed and stands up straight! The new one looks like my Junior High daughter sewed it. A huge disappointment. My dogs won’t go into the new one because it leans so much that the ceiling is nearly on top of their heads. I’ve tried propping it up but nothing works. I ordered another one, hoping that I had just gotten a dud, but it was the same shoddy quality. Sadly, I’m sending them back.Review from 2021: My 14# dog loves her dog cave to sleep in at night. She was restless when she was just in an open dog bed but she is a solid sleeper in her dog cave. It’s not very cushioned on the bottom so I added in some additional small blankets so she can make herself a nest. I’ve also draped a small blanket over the top on cold nights and used part of that blanket as a kind of “door” so she stays cozy at night. It works great! I’ve also taken it traveling (in the car) and she’s happy to sleep in new environments, as long as her dog cave is there. It unzips and can fold flat (though a few inches tall) if needed. She’s not tried to chew it and I haven’t tried to clean it so I can’t comment on those features. It keeps it’s shape well. Wish it had a removable fabric covering for the opening to keep in heat and keep out lights / noise.

Bed came in two days. Easy to put together (in front of my 11 lb nine month boy Clyde watching.) Put it down and he immediately claimed it! Very well designed and manufactured. Warm and comfy. Zippered rear panel cinveniently allows me to pass the cord for the 5w warming pad for those colder nights

Cat Bed
This is exactly as pictured. If you are going to have a pet bed in your living area with nice furniture, you want something pretty to not make the room look messy. This does that. I can only say my cat is so strange, she just sticks her head in to look around and then backs out, so guess she says “no thanks”. But she does that about most things. But I like the looks of it .

Easily assembles using zippers. Durable fabric and machine washable. My dog loves going in it to be by herself or when she hears something that scares her. I purchased it in the summer so to keep her cool I placed a tray with a blanket inside instead of the pillow that was provided. I’m sure it will be great on cold winter days. Perfect for a 5 to 8 pound pet.

Our Sphinx had no problem adapting to these great little domes. A little flimsy and miss shaped from transit but they do the job. We put their heating pads inside and can put the cord out the back which is nice.
