Barmy was created when our founder’s wife was looking for small weighted lap blankets for their kids. The selection and quality was sadly lacking so the idea to create great quality, perfectly sized blankets was born.

Great cozy blanket for a nervous pup
My toy poodle LOVES to be snuggled under this blanket at night. It’s not too heavy…just enough to make her feel cozy and safe. I also love that the cover unzips and can be washed, which is not the case for most human sized weighted blankets. We just ordered another for her to have at grammas house 🙂

Highly recommend. We have a very anxious almost12 year old pug/min pin mix who just lost her fur brother recently and this blanket has made a world of difference. She appreciates being tucked in every night with her weighted blankie.

My pup is scared of fireworks, so I purchased the weighted blanket and it worked. It’s not fuzzy to make him warm, but comfortable enough that he slept all night.

Stick with the 10% of body weight rule – no matter what the description says.
The blanket is great, but the medium is too heavy for my 27# dog, despite the description saying it’s good for dogs 22#. The general rule is to get a blanket that is 10% of the dog’s body weight. I’m swapping it for the small.
