Cool dog collars for warm humid walks!
We have a chocolate lab who loves to walk in any temperature. These cool collars are terrific! We’ve had really hot and humid weather that causes lots of panting. We use the collar as we walk him and we sometimes use these collars when we get home. He wears the cool collar laying down and the collar cools his entire body. When the first one is no longer cool we put the other one on if he needs it. We put the warm one in the fridge and in 20 to thirty minutes the first one is good to go again. I’m glad we purchased these collars for him!

Instant cooling
I don’t write many reviews, but when the product works far beyond my expectations a review is in order.I bought these for my dogs and I noticed the difference almost immediately. I live in California and we have some brutal summers, within a few minutes the panting had stopped completely. They worked so well I’m going to buy 2 more.

Nice deal
I love that this comes in a 2 pack that way you can switch them out in the fridge. It makes it perfect for camping trips with my chronic lyme bird dog. The color is vibrant so it makes seeing a black dog in the forest just that much easier. As a 2 pack, this will be a good value for someone who has an older dog that wants to keep them comfortable in the summer. The velcro appears to be solid as well and the large fits my 80 lb dogs neck.

Stays secure and cool.
Just chill in the refrigerator a few hours before using. Easy to put on dog and stayed cold/cool for a little over an hour. Could probably be placed in a cooler to re-chill, if you were camping. Fit well and stayed secured.

Works well on my smooth haired dog.
Ordered the large which is a bit loss on my dog but it still does the job. I use a small cooler to carry it in. It stays cool for about 20 minutes once it is on the dog.

Don’t stay cold for long at all
These stay cold for literally 10 mins. Not a good product.

Cools but unsure if it is truly pet safe
This seems to work pretty well – it cools pretty quickly in the fridge and is easy to put on. It fits nicely on my border collie. My only concern is that I can’t find anywhere that the inside gel is ok for pets – I was hoping there would be something in the packaging but I didn’t see it there. I see that the fabric is non-toxic, but not sure about the gel. I see indications that the fabric is “secure”, which makes me think it is banking on the gel staying inside. So I’m very nervous about using this in a situation where any of my animals will be out of my sight at any point in time. That limits my use of it, but I will still be using it occasionally over the warmer months to help cool my border collie.

Collars fit nicely on both dogs. I decided to stick them in freezer and pull them out several minutes before using. Just enough to mold the collar around puppy neck. And they love it! Actually lasts 2 to 3 hours
