Better than cat liter!
This is the best alternative I have found to the nasty smelling, clumping liter that gets everywhere. This stuff only smells when it’s time to change it and does not leave the liter box. I’ve used clay and crystals and these pellets are 100% better. Also, doesn’t cause cancer, unlike the clay liters do, so that is a major win.

Decent as cat litter
We tried this for our cats to see if it would be another natural option we could use for them. It’s pretty good so far, but we and they still prefer their regular litter. They don’t use it quite as often as they use the natural clumping litter, but they have been using it, and it definitely doesn’t track as much. It’s pretty good at controlling odor, but up close it does smell a bit like a barn. The pellets are pretty large, so we can’t use one of our litter scoops with them, but luckily we had another scoop with larger slots that works better. We love that it’s organic and sustainable!

Works well!
Using this for feral cats that I am trying to capture to fix. It works well as they used it.

Organic wheat straw litter
It works nicely. Way less dust then regular cat litter.Definitely more like something used for rodents though but it does work for cats. You just have to get them trained/use to it if they are familiar with normal cat litter.Happy to have this as an option. Regular cat litter can have heavy metals in it. This should be safer because its wheat. Some of the wood versions ive seen can also have problems because wood dust is problematic just like clay dust is.Havent noticed a difference in smell from regular cat litter. Seems to be equally effective. Its a big bag that lasts a while.Very happy overall

Not for my cat
Too different from our normal litter. I got this for my senior cat and to help him transition, used a 50/50 mixture of his crystal litter and this stuff. This increased the level of stickiness a lot. I’m glad it’s non-toxic natural stuff and it’s likely perfect for rabbits and guinea pigs, but it does not work for cats or even cat. I had to clean his box a day early just to rid our house of the stink and the mess in the box was worse than usual. It’s possible an old cat cannot learn new tricks and maybe with his arthritis this was too hard to navigate. Anyway, not for us. I actually went back to the listing to double check it was listed for cats. It is, but it isn’t a great idea.

This works pretty well for cat litter.
The only thing is that the pellets disintegrate when they get wet, and I noticed that the disintegrated pellets stick to my cat’s feet and get tracked around the house. It’s not a huge mess, but it’s enough to notice. I haven’t experienced a lot of smells coming from the litter box, which is good. The pellets themselves are really big—definitely bigger than typical cat litter—and I imagine they’re not the most comfortable for my cat’s paws, so that’s worth keeping in mind. The scent is neutral, so it doesn’t add any unwanted smells to the litter box area. I did notice a little dust when pouring it into the litter box initially, but nothing too concerning. One downside is that because the pellets are so big, they don’t sift well through a standard litter scoop—so you might need to dump and replace the litter more often rather than trying to scoop.I’m normally a bit sensitive to hay, but this didn’t really trigger any reaction for me, which I appreciate.Ultimately, I don’t know that I would use this again. I like that it’s more natural, but not being able to sift it is kind of a dealbreaker for me.

good quality, huge pellets
This maybe a very goof quality product, but I didn’t realize the size of the pellets would be quite so large. It’s not going to work for me.
