Best for odor control!
This is AMAZING for odor control!!! Not quite sure how I feel about not being able to scoop out the urine (it gets absorbed, doesn’t clump), but we shall see. For now, it has vastly outperformed the corn based litter I was using before!!

I’m going to buy it again, but…
Damn this stuff is expensive, but Ill be it for me to argue with what the cats will use, since one of my two cats (still not sure which one) keeps deciding to go #2 next to, instead of inside the litterbox. Well, introduce this Glo stuff and every time I checked, no poops outside the box. I was impressed immediately. However, this does NOT last 30 days for a house with two cats (And I have two litterboxes!). Because you dont scoop the urine, it ends up building up and weighing down the litter over time. Not to mention smelling really bad after 2 weeks, which seemed to be the time frame that one of my cats starting going outside the box again.So if you have multiple cats, be prepared to switch the litter every 14 days. Its a super cool idea, and I will use whatever keeps my cats going where they should, so I guess I have no choice but to buy it again. But will do so reluctantly and hope they are willing to go back to something cheaper in the near future.

Works, the cats like it, but we mostly use self-cleaning boxes
Boxiecat makes amazing cat litters so I was so happy to try this!It’s interesting. It does work, the cats don’t seem to mind it, but it also seems like it is more work than not. Obviously a self-cleaning box wouldn’t work with this, which is also an issue.I might do another test run with it, we do have two boxes that are not self-cleaning for those cats who prefer “real” litterboxes. I noticed a bit of tracking. The odor seemed ok but we have so many cats and cat boxes it is hard to tell!!!

Both cats refuse to use it
This sounded like an interesting product, and I was looking forward to testing it.Sadly, both of my cats refused to use it. In fact, it seems to have freaked them out. They at first seemed, I don’t know, afraid of it? Then, one at a time, they got into the litter box with it, and both pretty much had the same response. As soon as their paws touched it, they couldn’t get away from it fast enough. One popped up and had all four paws splayed out on the top rim of the litter box, like some kind of circus act. And, while it was really funny to watch, isn’t the best reaction to cat litter!I’m not sure what it was exactly that initially scared them, as they did seem to get over approaching it, but ultimately, neither of them liked the feel of it on their paws. Like, violently didn’t like it.I felt that since I had two cats, with their own likes and dislikes of things, it would be a good test of the litter. And, as they both absolutely couldn’t stand it, I feel it was a definite: NOPE!Wish I could have given it a good review, but Oskar and Lexi have spoken. Bummer I didn’t get a video of their reaction, and I can’t get either of them to go near it again.1 star.

It’s a great concept, but didn’t quite hit the mark for us!
My wife and I run a kitten foster home, so we’re always on the lookout for products that might make our feline friends’ lives a bit easier and our home a bit cleaner. First off, the concept of UV sparkles visible only to cats is fascinating. It’s designed to guide them to the litter box, potentially reducing behavioral issues and house-soiling, which sounded perfect for our varying crew of foster kittens. However, in practice, we didn’t observe any noticeable change in how the kittens approached or used their litter boxes. They seemed neither more nor less attracted to the litter than usual.As for the 30-day odor control claim, this was another key reason for our interest. With multiple kittens always in the house, anything that promises extended odor control is a must-try. Sadly, we didn’t find it to be any more effective than our usual litter. While it didn’t perform badly, it didn’t live up to the heightened expectations set by its product description either.In terms of texture and dust, the crystal litter is fairly typical of non-clumping varieties. It’s less messy than some clumping litters and doesn’t track as much around the house, which is a plus. However, without the litter clumping, it’s sometimes harder to keep the box as clean as one might like, which can deter cats from using it—something that’s particularly problematic in a foster home setting where you’re trying to encourage good habits.Overall, while the idea behind this litter is innovative and it’s always exciting to try new technology designed for pets, this particular product didn’t make a significant difference in our litter box routine. We wouldn’t purchase it again, mainly because it didn’t stand out compared to other products that are more effective or better suited to our needs. It’s a great concept, but the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for us, resulting in a 3 out of 5 stars rating.
