    Great cat litter
This is amazing litter, the bedroom does not smell like a cat lives there. So impressive I ordered it on subscription.

  2. Michelle Henninger

    AWESOME PRODUCT
Best litter to be honest, just a bit pricey.

    Very high-quality cat litter
This is some of my favorite cat litter on the market. It clumps up very well. It is so easy to scoop out of the litter box and it lasts much longer than others of its kind before having to change it out.. And it doesn’t give off a bad odor Even when it’s time to change it out

Using it right now – pretty fine
I’m using it right now as an experiment with different litter. Overall, I would say this is a decent to good litter. I don’t find any problems with it. But just like the Pretty Litter brand, this brand also tracks a teeny bit and gets on the floor. It’s not as bad as the other brands though and is only concentrated near the litter box. However, I would recommend that you have a litter mat right at the entrance of the litter box to prevent it from going elsewhere. Also, my cat seems to like it for some reason. I find it just staring at the litter or (its new litter box). And to be honest, I don’t know why. But when we first started using the litter, she jumped into her new litter box immediately, started digging around, and did a pee in the first ten seconds. I was surprised but happy that she took to it so quickly. I did sprinkle a bit of her old litter in the new white litter.Overall, nothing too bad to say about this brand. A family member did mention that she would sometimes cough when changing the litter, and she thinks its because of the litter particles. But I live in the room where my cats box is in, and I haven’t coughed since. So please keep that in mind. Also I do notice my cat cleaning her paws a bit more, but I might just be over-observant!Likes:1. Very white2. Cat seems to like itDislikes1. See above considerations.Update:I changed to a 1. It started having a very fouly smell after a while and gave a member of my house severe allergies either through the dust or the smell that she’s currently wearing a face mask. We are currently ventilating the house. I also noticed my cat was having interesting symptoms of irritation. I thought that perhaps she got into dust or something but now with the latest turn of events, I realized that her symptoms started after we changed her litter to this one. So I am thinking it was the litter change and she too might be allergic to it as well. I’m currently treating her symptoms so hopefully she feels better soon.Irregardless, I don’t recommend.

May need to add extra if you have a cat who pees a lot , or more than 1 cat
You’re meant to mix the pee spots back into the litter and perhaps that might work if you’ve a single cat who does not pee so much, but Ive 2 cats who choose the same box, and one is an ol’boy who pees quite a bit and so this entire bag in my litter box was pretty much soaked/soiled in a week.I appreciate the lightweight, light colored litter, as well as easy to open (& portable) bag , also the scent was minimal until getting close and stirring up soaked litter. I admit I did try to scoop out some large thoroughly soaked pee spots at first because it seemed so counter intuitive to just mix an entirely soaked corner (what happens in a half-day) of the litter box back into the litter (this is not scoopable Whatsoever so its a balancing act) so if removing soaked litter set off the balance or something..but the wet was just not minimal and infrequent enough where the litter could keep up to magically dry and clean itself up I felt. {So Maybe if I had triple the amount of litter in a triple the size box, I admit it could have been I didn’t give this a fair shot with a single cat who pees a normal amount} I poured the whole bag in and the scene by the end was wet mixed up litter and my boy cat sometimes using the rug in front of the box and my girl going in and having to step on this wet pee pile ;pAnyway I was glad I got to try it though! Could be one day I’ll give it another shot with a much larger amount. I already have litter that keeps the spots segregated super tidily where I just scoop them out and the rest of the litter stays clean, which is about as easy to use as this with the benefit of never having to dump the whole box out, And the cat not having to step on scattered around pee in the box before it’s re-absorbed/dried.

Smells wonderful, soft to feel, easy clean up
I have been wanting to try Boxie for a long time and the Vine program gave me the opportunity in exchange for an honest review. The scent is fresh but subtle and doesn’t bother the cats. It is soft on their paws. I have three cats so one six pound bag isn’t enough for all the boxes, and I have read that it takes a while for cats to adjust to a new litter, so I am using this to mix with their old litter to allow them time to adjust. I have noticed, however, that even the mixture of Boxie with traditional litter is easier to scoop and there is not as much litter scatter. It also isn’t sticking to the sides of the box. It has extended the life of the old litter even thought it is mixed. I pay a little less than the price of one Boxie bag for traditional litter, but with three cats, one box of traditional litter doesn’t last long. Boxie is supposed to twice as long (presumably if not mixed with other litter) and I still have some left, so I am going to put the rest in one clean box by itself and try it out to see how long it actually lasts on its own. However, my impression of this litter so far is that it’s going to be worth it to put out slightly more money for a bag of this – with the offset that it lasts longer and ultimately saves $. And, if you are a cat owner, you know exactly how valuable it is to reduce litter stuck to sides of the box and litter scattered all over the floor.
