Adorable fun especially on bad weather days!
I love this book, my dog was already advanced but so many of the ideas I didn’t even think of! Atlas is a Bassador, black lab and basset hound, he has so much energy he shakes ! I had bad physical days and with the weather in Maine, I needed inside activities and this book was it! Easy to read and understand, love the ideas and you may learn a thing or two on the way.

Unique Ideas
This book had more original ideas than another book on the same topic, I dog-eared about a dozen pages. I’d recommend it.

great book.
creative ideas for small or calm dogs to engage in puzzles made from things around house. the only challenge I had was the word PA^TE’. after some research ( it is a German word). It is ground up –any kind of– meat with or without vegetables —- basically canned dog food, peanut butter also works. I did not see any where about a snuffle mats that are also fun for dogs. If your dog is a chewer then these games MUST be supervised!!

Interesting but basic
If you’ve ever had a dog before, you’ve already tried most of the stuff in this book (eg: putting a treat under a cup). If you are a first time dog owner and are looking for some fun stuff to try, then this is a good choice. There is a nice section at the beginning that introduces the concepts and remind us that for dogs as for humans, the learning itself is a fun part of the journey!

.Great reference of ideas
The book was easy to read. The ideas were amazing but seem simple enough to set up. I am excited to try these games with my older dog.

not challenging
I have a 6 lb maltipoo who is very creative and smart and energetic. She was able to figure these teasers out very quickly. I was hoping for more creative ideas. More basic.

My dog is on enforced rest after an injury but has lots of energy and loves to run around like a loony after a ball. Prescribed 4 weeks total rest, then week 5 two short 5 minute walks a day increasing walks by 5 minutes each week and no running jumping or stairs, he’s understandably a bit bored until his leg gets better. Looking forward to trying some of the ideas here, all cheap DIY options. I bought some “brain training” toys but he worked them out really quickly and they are expensive. These ideas seem better and obviously a lot cheaper.
