Fun, well made cat toy
First off, every cat is different, so toys are always hit-or-miss.One of our cats just ignores this complete. The other cat, however, was a bit more interested. With the fur trim attached, heโll intently watch the toy as it zooms around the house and will chase it from room to room, but wonโt actually touch it. If the toy is put into the mat/bag thing, though, heโll swat, pounce, and even bite at the mat to get to it.The toy itself seems well made. The USBC charging port has a small flap to prevent dirt and such from getting inside, and the fur trim, ears, and tail provide a little extra visual appeal. The toy has three modes, but the mode descriptions seem like nonsense, though. The listing shows โFast mode (blue light)โ as the slower mode and โSlow mode (purple light)โ as the faster mode, which doesnโt make a lot of sense. It also shows that there is an โinteractive mode (green light)โ, but the device does not seem to have such a mode at all, and the light never turns green. It does turn red, however. If you asked me to name the modes, I would say that blue is fast, red is slow, and purple is more of a โpreyโ mode. In the purple mode, the toy isnโt activated by touch like the listing states, but it will sit in place and โwiggleโ around for a bit before suddenly darting around and then waiting to wiggle again.Lastly, since the janky edited product images donโt really give any sense of scale: the toy itself is about 2.5โ inches diameter.

Fun, cat enjoys, dies quickly
This interactive automatic toy was a hit with my cat. It dies pretty quickly, within just one day of use, and the fabric of the bag that holds the toy is a little thick, which means if there are any wrinkles the ball inside has trouble getting around, but my cat (who is pretty picky) still seemed to like it.PROS: unlike many other similar toys, this bag has an ingenious red tag on one side to mark exactly where the opening is to fish out the toy for recharging. I really appreciated that thoughtful touch. The fuzzy ring with bunny ears that goes around the ball can be removed, as can the little puffball tail – which is nice, because if using the ball on the open floor, the fuzzy parts seemed to slow down the ball to the point of the cat losing interest. It goes much faster without the fuzzy parts. I love that the ball can be used either on the open floor or contained within the bag, and the entire toy comes with a drawstring pouch to carry/contain it when not in use.CONS: As mentioned before, the toy doesn’t seem to last as long as some others and needs to be recharged frequently. The fuzzy parts (the ring with ears, and the tail) seem to slow down the ball too much, especially when on carpet, but they are removable so that isn’t bad.Good toy, good value, could be a little better so that’s why it’s only getting 4 stars.

Endless Entertainment โ My Cats Are Obsessed!
This interactive toy is hands down one of the best purchases Iโve made for my cats! The motion-activated rolling ball keeps them totally engaged, and the hide-and-seek play mat makes it even more exciting. I was worried their sharp claws would tear through the plastic right away but I was so wrong. Theyโve been aggressive with it, and thereโs still not a single hole!I even tossed an extra battery-operated ball inside the mat for added chaos, and they went wild. Two of my cats in particular canโt get enough of it. The toy is rechargeable, easy to set up, and durable enough to handle some serious play.10/10 would recommend to any cat parent looking to add some enrichment and excitement to their petโs day!My Amazon Star โญ Rating Guide:* โญ 1 Star โ Very poor; doesn’t work or match description* โญโญ 2 Stars โ Poor; major issues, not worth it* โญโญโญ 3 Stars โ Okay; average with some flaws* โญโญโญโญ 4 Stars โ Good; works well, minor issues* โญโญโญโญโญ 5 Stars โ Excellent; exceeded expectations.

Somewhat disappointing.
This Brylex interactive cat toy with a rolling ball inside a play mat is somewhat disappointing. I’ll start by saying it was likely my expectations rather than a performance issue. First, the mat doesn’t have any holes in it for the cats to stick their paws into to try and get the ball. Yes, it lights up as it rolls around inside, but the cats lose interest quickly because they can’t really get at it. Second, the instructions indicate that there are three colored lights, blue, purple, and yellow. Blue is fast, purple is slow, and yellow is interactive. There is no yellow light, there is red, blue, and purple. The speed between all three appears to be the same, the purple adds a bit of a flutter when it stops, but none of them appear to be interactive. They all just shut off after a period of time. As a whole, this isn’t too bad because again the cats seem to lose interest after a bit and this just saves the battery. The battery is rechargeable via a USB cord and it does not take very long to become fully charged. This may be great for your cat, you would know them better, but for mine, this was unimpressive.
