kitten hates it but necessary
This helmet is very useful for when the older kitten gets very bitey and I need to trim the nails. The latches are a little difficult to snap close in a hurry. At least they are easy to undo for removing the helmet. So far, the kitten is calmer with it. I never make him wear it for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

I would have liked the clasps on the “helmet” to have been better quality but it worked well for what we needed it for.

Nail trimming became easier
Definitely don’t like to restrain my cat while trimming his nails but it has to be done. Before he was slice my whole arm up. I do use treats before and after especially with this helmet I put on him. It snaps on fine and closes fine. It leaves him room for his head. The little boots have a velcro that won’t attach to his fur so it’s not going to hurt him. The boots have a small slit for feet sizes but the wrap around strap for the boot helps keep the boots on. I give my cat treats after I trim his nails. While he can’t be trimmed without the helmet, he knows now that he isn’t going to get hurt and is actually taking well to wearing it and his boots when I trim his nails.

My cats got out of it with their paws
Cats freaked out used Paws to get out of it it broke and purchased correct size so it shouldn’t have been able to be kicked off by her back feet waste of my money

Warning may cause an angry Ninja!
Trying to get this on my cat was like wrestling with a tiny samurai ninja. Putting the helmet on was not so bad, but Getting those blades covered by the mitts was funny and painful at the same time. Funny because every time I was able to grab one of those swinging blades she would try to bite me. So I was constantly being bashed by the hard plastic helmet while holding on to a struggling cat and trying to avoid the other claws. Finally after many scratches and contusions it was all on. The cat was not happy!!! I put her down on the carpet. BIG MISTAKE!!! She did a Moon walk and was able to remove all the mitts within one minute. That ninja decided to pay me back by charging me around the house and she hit her head against the corner of the door jam in fast pursuit of me screaming and running for my life and it knocked the helmet off. Thankfully this distracted her long enough for me to lock myself in the bathroom. Her ninja claws are trying to swipe me from under the door crack! If you are reading this… please send snacks. I don’t think I will be getting out of here anytime soon.

Cat helmet
The helmet works well. But the claps are hard to slide to close.But once you get it to close around the cat’s head, I was able to brush him and trim his hair on bottom foot with no problems. It does prevent my cat from bitting me. Yeah!

Great product but unfortunately my cat wouldn’t co-operate with using it. –
If your cat won’t let you put the hood or paw protectors on then you will not be able to use it.
