I have bought dozens of products trying to find the right detangling product to use on my curly doodles coats. This de-tangle spray used right after a bath, using We Love Doodles 4 in 1 Shampoo / Conditioner does the trick. Spray this product on while the dogs hair is damp and after they dry you have a soft, fluffy, easy to comb through dog coat. And it lasts for days without a greasy after feel. Very light scent which doesn’t overpower the shampoo aroma. It Works! Highly recommend it in combination with the We Love Doodles shampoo/conditioner.

I have a Havanese puppy. For some reason, he constantly scratches his ears. I’ve taken him to the vet and we’ve tried creams and special shampoos, but nothing solves the problem. I have to brush his ears every morning to get out the knots. Naturally, it was a fight because he didn’t like his ears combed. I tried the Bert’s Bees and with a little bit of patience, it really works. I find I have to keep his ears wet while I’m doing it so basically I’m able to get his ears back to normal. I have you been using this for at least three months.

If i compare to human products- No more tangles! I can now brush my pups tail without him being upset- his tail has hairs 3-6”! He hated the pull before to untangle and brush it but he is good now! Plus it smells good and from what I can find (pls correct me!!!) it’s safe?

Burt’s Bees for dogs??
Love this conditioning spray from Burt’s Bees. I spray it on my hand to make sure I don’t get it in her eyes and rub it on her head and her fur feels great. The spray has a light pleasant smell and really helps demat my dog.

Didn’t seem to help with mats; Arrived damaged and leaking
As an avid fan of Burt’s Bees, I was really hoping this product would be a natural detangler to help get the mats out of my dog’s coat. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to do much. The smell is fine, not too strong.My biggest issue is that the top looks pried off, and it came leaking, easily at least an ounce missing.

I bought this along with a de matting brush, and it worked wonders! My dog has medium to long hair and it was matted at his ears, and his collar due to seasonal allergy scratches. I wish I took before and after pictures, but this product, paired with a good de matting brush, saved my dogs coat. The scent was subtle, but smelled clean like he had just taken a bath. My dog has very sensitive skin so this spray was perfect for him!

Makes the Difference From Hard to Easy When Using a De-Matting Tool
Our professional groomer left matt on the exterior ears of my minature poodle – not going back – will groom myself. I read the reviews for many matt removal instruments and given the price and construction I purchased the Tuff Pupper Matt Remover Comb.The dematting tool did exactly as described: the “Sharp Pins and Precise Holes instantly” trapped matted fur, and my poodle never indicated any “hurting” discomfort as the “Rounded Safety Ends are gentle against the skin.”The photo shows the amount of matting removed from the right and left ears respectively.I’ve used slickers before but never a tool like this so I experimented with it on the poodle without the use of detangling solution. This resulted in the tool trapping the matts but required a strong pulling effort which obviously put stress on the poodle, so I went to the next option, the use of a detangling solution.I used the Burt’s Bees for Dogs Natural Detangling Spray With Lemon and Linseed – by using this solution the Tuff Pupper Matt Remover Comb worked flawlessly.In any case, be sure to use the tool to work in SMALL AREAS, starting at the point where the lowest matt is found (assuming one is combing towards that direction) and when that matt is removed work upwards towards the next problem area. By doing this one is only dealing with any minimal matting at one time, further reducing stress on the animal and getting better resuilts.
