Outstanding dog coat
I have a Carhart jacket and now so do both my dogs. Make sure you measure them. Jackets fit exactly to the size chart. Velcro straps are quality. Pockets for snacks and poo bags. Pockets won’t fit a water bottle unless maybe you get a large size. I have a small and medium. You can use with a collar or put a harness over the coat. My dogs stay warm . Worth the money. Quality stitching and materials.

Great Dane Meeka loves her new chore coat!
Your working dog will love this sturdy chore coat! The workmanship and detail are excellent. The wide velcro closures allow for a perfect fit. Under the rugged canvas fabric, there is beautiful quilted lining. There are two pockets, one of which is a button-down pocket. Whether you’re looking for a practical chore coat or a tactical fashion statement, this is the sturdiest dog coat I’ve ever bought.

Works great for temps around 35-45 deg for my pitbull. I put it on him in much colder temps for quick bathroom breaks as well. It just leaves the belly exposed. Seems durable, the pockets are nice, and it looks very nice.Size large works pretty well for my 65 lb pitbull.

Gorgeous coat BUT no hole for the leash!!!
I’m giving this coat 4 stars because I can’t bring myself to give it a 3 even though I want to. The coat is so incredibly well made – it is truly the quality of a Carhartt jacket you would buy for yourself. It has great little pockets and a corduroy collar as added details and a nice quilted lining; which is the same as you see in many men’s Carhartt coats. The stout canvas fabric and lining combo should be very warm and especially windproof. I do wish the lining was flannel rather than the slick nylon fabric but I think the idea of it being a little “cozy” has more to do with my needs than my dogs! The Velcro closures are very long and wide to help endure a good fit and secure closure. The thing that has made be drop to 4 stars is the lack of a hole to slip the leash through to easily clip it to the dog’s harness. I honestly may return this because of this issue…with all the thought that went into this coat I’m surprised they missed this! Clearly this jacket is made with a field/hunting dog in mind…one that is generally off leash – but for most of us the ability to clip the leash on and off is important. The coat is a bit too bulky to put the harness securely over it as you might be able to do with a thin sweater. So although I think this jacket is wonderful…the lack of consideration for attaching a leash really irks me…such a shame!

Perfect coat for SW Florida dogs!
We have had this coat for my dog since Oct 2023. We live in SW Florida, so our cold is different than northern areas. This coat is lightweight, durable, easy to put on our bully. It clears all the important parts so he doesn’t accidentally wee on it. It’s the perfect length from his neck to tail. The duck cloth helps repel rain, which happens often. It’s been through 2 Florida winters and our guy loves putting it on before he goes out. I cannot recommend this coat enough for your dog.

Stylish Dog Coat
Very nice and stylish! I purchased an X-Large for my 110lb Corso. The adjustable Velcro under the neck and stomach allow me to loosen and tighten as needed. This is the biggest size but does not fit the length of his body. Insulated but very stiff, instead of warm and fuzzy. But was expected for Carhartt. So if you’re looking for a warm winter coat for your dog this is not it. But great for the fall weather and looks nice overall!

Our dog has a thick coat and the snow melts down to his skin. This is great for keeping it off him so he stays warm. He gets a lot of compliments on being a handsome boy getting ready for work 😂
