    Love it
Its a dog toy lol works as it should. I like it because its got some weight at the end so I can play tug of war and throw it pretty far for my dog to fetch. My dog gets tired of tennis balls and sometimes wont bring them back but she likes to keep this toy in her mouth and bring it back everytime. Its only bad if you have a super destructive biter but I take my dog out alot and she has specific ones she knows she shouldnt tear up. Overall love it just like all other Carhartt products.

Good for fetch with non-aggressive chewers
This review is for the Carhartt Pet Toys Rubber Ball Dog Rope Pull, Durable Pull for Dogs, Carhartt Brown/Dark Brown. This rope toy has me conflicted on how to rate it. The rubber ball is about the size of a standard tennis ball and great quality. It is solid, sturdy, and would hold up to chewing. The rope on the other hand is soft, thin, and would not hold up to chewing. If you have an aggressive chewer, they can at least continue to play with the ball if they destroy the rope. If you don’t have an aggressive chewer, this is nice to play fetch with because I can throw it farther than a ball by itself. I can hold the rope by the loop on the end, give it a swing and throw it really far due to the weight of the ball. And since some dogs like to fetch balls and others prefer the mouth feel of a rope, it will satisfy more dogs in that regard. So, while the ball would be OK for aggressive chewers, the toy as a whole would be best for non-aggressive chewers. Since I don’t see it specifically advertised for aggressive chewers and unless this is your dogs first toy, you know if your dog is a chewer or not, my 4 star rating is based on the quality of this as a toy for a non-aggressive chewer.Overall length about 21inBall about 2.75inWidth of rope about 3/4in

Surprisingly Tough and Fun to Play With
This Carhartt rubber ball with a rope is a great find! My Boston Terrier, who’s notorious for tearing through toys, hasn’t managed to destroy it yet, and that’s saying something. The combination of the sturdy rubber ball and durable rope really holds up to all the tugging and chewing he does. It’s also a good size for him to grip, and it’s easy to throw for those fetch games too. What I really appreciate is how rugged it feels. The Carhartt brown look is a cool touch, and it’s been holding up well outdoors without showing much wear. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone with a dog that’s hard on their toys. This one’s built to last.

    Just ok
Its a decent dog toy but my german shepherd had it torn up in a week. Maybe just ise this for smaller dogs

  7. Carolyn

    Great for Spontaneous Play
I chose this Carhartt Pet Toys Rubber Ball Dog Rope Pull for my high drive German Shepherd who loves to play and run but doesn’t tear her toys up. It’s a well made interactive toy to throw or tug on but not for aggressive chewers. The ball is tuff but the rope is a 100% Cotton horse lead type rope. Cotton rope is great, in my opinion, because it’s soft and you don’t have to be concerned about small plastic or nylon fibers creating mouth or gum issues. I think it’s a great toy and I keep it inside on the back door handle so I can step outside and throw it a few minutes several times a day. The ball has good weight so it flies pretty far. Good for active dogs of all sizes. Not a good toy for my active, but more delicate, ShihTzu. My medium 70lb GSD loves it!!
