If I could give it more stars I would. It works so well!First, it is high quality and well made from solid materials. It is lightweight, and also feels strong and sturdy! I pushed down on the handle with some force and there was no bending, bowing, or cracking in the handle.Second, and most important, is how well it cleans up pet hair! I vacuumed a rug and then used this to see how much pet hair the vacuum left behind. It was unbelievable! As you can see in the pictures, the vacuum left A LOT of hair. It did not look like there was that much hair left In the rug! I am so impressed with how much hair the carpet rake was able to get out! You can see a difference in the colors of the rug before and after using the rake. In the picture that shows the rake, the colors on the right are so much brighter. It is easier to see the color difference in real life, but you can tell a little from the picture. In the other picture I used the rake on the top and left side of the rug. It made me feel like the rug was very dirty and I didn’t have a clue! It feels so much cleaner after using the carpet rake. My 13 said he noticed a difference in how the rug feels on his feet after using the carpet rake. It feels more fluffy. The carpet rake really got down into the fibers of the rug and fluffed them up. They were very smushed down and I didn’t realize it. The carpet rake revived my rug!! It looks better and feels better. What’s not to love?Truth-you do need to use a little muscle power to get the maximum effectiveness. If you don’t, it will still pick up some hair. If you can use a little power to push down you will get amazing results!!This is not just for carpets. I have used it on everything in the house: stairs, pet beds, furniture, my car, any material that has pet hair stuck to it. The carpet rake works on everything!I want to give one of these to everyone I know that has a pet. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the price is very reasonable for what you get. If this ever breaks or wears out, I would definitely buy another one.

This carpet rake is wonderful if you have pets at home. I bought it for a friend who has dogs and cats, and their hair used to get caught in the carpets, couches, and beds, but with this product, I can easily remove it in seconds!It works much better than a vacuum cleaner for this type of cleaning, as it pulls up embedded hair without damaging the fabric. This carpet rake works great! It really pulls up pet hair from rugs and furniture that my vacuum misses. The adjustable handle is super convenient, and it’s easy to use. Definitely helpful if you have shedding pets. I was surprised at how much pet hair this rake picked up! It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and doesn’t damage the carpet.

It works as intended, but for me the intent is long haired humans, not pets.
The pet hair comes up just fine in the vacuum cleaner. No issue. I needed something for my wife and daughter’s long hair, which when I vacuumed would get wrapped around the roller and then require me to stop, disassemble the head / roller, cut the hair off and then start again. So I needed something good at getting up HUMAN hair. I’m surprised that this, and all the other carpet rakes, only seem to mention pet hair.As for this product in particular, it works. It works fine. It’s pretty sturdy, easy to assemble and easy to use. I presume though that many competitor products work fine, are sturdy and easy to assemble and use as well though, so this one doesn’t stand out as being head and shoulders above the rest. Thus 4 stars seems appropriate. It does what I expected it to do, and I’m not worried about it breaking.One suggestion for any of the providers in this category. If any of you had mentioned if it was applicable to longer hair from people, then that’s the one I would have bought.

This rake is great. Got the cat hair up. I did not realize there was so much hair left on the carpet after vacuuming. The cat hair destroyed 2 vacuums already. We have 5 rescue cats so you can imagine.I highly recommend this rake. Worth the price! Fast shipping. Happy in Okie
