Mine stayed up fine; ball toy is iffy.
My 12lb cat loves this cat cave and the size is nice for her (with some room to spare). I’ve had no problem with mine staying in shape so not sure why some collapse and others don’t. The only thing I didn’t like was the little hanging ball. Ella easily pulled out the threads from it by the mouthful, and I had to pull them out of her mouth to keep her from swallowing them. I’d recommend removing the ball, just to be safe, or test to see if yours is more secure. My cat loves to knead, and she goes to town on the removable cushion in this.

Thought this would be perfect for my kitten that needs to take time to relax. However it is not sturdy and cannot stand upright alone. It is so flimsy. Nothing as I thought. Cute idea though.

Bought this for our 7 pound Chihuahua. She loves being in cozy spots and it is perfect. I’ve washed and dried it twice now and it comes out beautifully. Very well made and attractive enough for the living room.

I’m only giving this a 3 because my cat loves it. Otherwise i would have given it a zero. It is not sturdy and tilts to the side. The ball was gone – so I’m guessing I got a cat cave that was returned and repackaged. Not cool!

Not as pictured
It’s being returned..big enough for a kitten, not a bigger cat. There’s no ball hanging down and it is floppy and collapses. No way my cat will be able to get into it without me holding it open.
