   Cats used this immediately very well made
   Bought this for my sons gaming area .This will give the cats somewhere to lay instead of In front of the monitor while he’s gaming .My cats absolutely love it .My biggest cat is 15 pounds and very fluffy he fits as well .

   Make sure you have plenty of room
   So this is completely user error, but I got this to attach to the side of my desk, so I could get the cats off of it while I am trying to work. However I did not measure how deep the lip of my desk is and just assumed that it would hold properly. Unfortunately it did not and one of my babies tried to jump into it and the whole thing came down. I did however find a different table that I could sit next to my desk that does hold it sturdily and they absolutely adore it. So just make sure that you have plenty of room for it to sit and it is great.

   I was a little worried about how sturdy this cat bed would be with a 10lb cat that launches off of everything and I’m happy to say it doesn’t move and holds his weight perfectly! He loves the little mat it came with too! 10/10.

   Fantastic cat bed!
   This cat bed desk nest is a solid purchase, but there are a few things to keep in mind before deciding if it’s right for your setup. First, it’s important to note that the desk or table it attaches to can’t be thicker than 2.5 inches, and you’ll need at least 4 inches of exposed surface space (without a decorative skirt) to make it fit. If your desk has a decorative skirt or very little exposed edge, it might not work for you.Once I found the perfect spot for it on my desk, my cat absolutely loved it! I paired it with a scratching post nearby, and he quickly figured out how to run up the post and jump into his cozy new nap spot. Even though the pad seems thin to me, my cat clearly disagrees—this is his favorite place to nap, so I guess comfort is all about perspective.That said, while it’s a great addition to my desk and my cat seems to adore it, I do think the price is a little steep for what it is. But overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it if you can find the right spot on your desk for it.

   Holding up to my big cat plus one
   I work from home and allow my pets in my office area. Most of the time this works out well but sometimes they just want to be in your space, on your keyboard, in front of the camera, etc. and usually at the worst possible times. I don’t like to lock them out of the room (but have when they have gotten on my last nerve) and thought that this cat bed desk nest would be a great solution to my problem. It hasn’t. They still bug me when I’m behind and busy but they do like this cat bed. Assembly was fairly easy although I had to remove the screws and rotate the bed in order to get the opening to line up how I wanted it. I originally wanted to set this on my desk but it has a lip and wouldn’t work. My alternative location actually worked out better and I attached it next to my desk on my printer stand. Their bed now overlooks the window that they couldn’t see out of before. It took a few days but now my big, eleven pound plus boy likes to lay and sleep in this bed. The bed comes with a thin pad but I added a thicker one to give it a bit more cushioning. The standard thin oval donuts fit pretty good in this. I am also quite impressed with the quality of this bed and as you can see from one of my pictures I had two cats in this bed at one time-one is the eleven pounder. It is sturdy and holding up well. I have seen similar beds for cheaper online but feel that in this instance you get what you pay for. This one may be more expensive but it’s well made and able to hold up to the big guys.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

   Great Space-Saver with Some Minor Flaws
   I love that this cat bed keeps my kitty off my immediate desk area, allowing me to reclaim some much-needed workspace. The frame feels sturdy, and my cat did use it for a while, which is a good sign. I also appreciate that there’s a removable cushion inside, though it’s quite thin and not particularly plush. It would’ve been nice if it came with softer bedding to make it more inviting.The height is only about a foot above the desk, so I couldn’t fit my mail organizer underneath it as I’d hoped. A longer support bar to raise it higher would have been helpful. Additionally, the limited color options (orange/white or orange/black) might clash with some décor.On the plus side, the bed’s cover is washable, and the main support bar is made of metal, which adds to its durability. Overall, it’s a clever design that helps free up desk space, but a few adjustments—like a softer cushion and more height—could make it even better.

   cats love it
   My cats love this!! It was very simple to assemble and it feels sturdy. I also love the clean look compared to the few other options I saw. I have a cat on a diet (a diet that’s only kind of working 😅 ). The cat nest supports him fine. Sometimes my second cat will even jump up there and attempt to steal the spot and it still feels sturdy with the two of them haha. This solved my problem of cats constantly trying to be involved in my workspace where there just wasn’t room.I might even get a second one since both my cats love it so much! They even sit on it when I am not working.

   This review is for the “Cat Bed Desk Nest with Teaser,Easy Installation Shelf,Sturdy Frame,Removable Cushioned Cushion, Space Saving Design,Ideal for Side Table”.This is not a fan favorite of my cat. I have tried it in a few different places. I installed it on my desk first, in hopes to keep my cat from stepping on my laptop while working. No go.Then I moved it to a table. Still no interest. Last I installed it to the cat tree to add another level (it’s a floor to ceiling cat tree). Still the cat won’t use it. I even spayed it with catnip.The bed material is made of plastic with a pad and a metal post. It’s installed easily by turning the vice dial. Good idea, but for us… it’s a no.
