    Easy Grooming
My cat Callie is a sweet old lady but would not let you near her when it came to get knots out and this helped tremendously

  2. Minnesota Chevy Girl

    Zero fear!
Own a Maine Coon cat, pretty easy to get matted even brushing every day. Quiet enough that she doesn’t run the other direction or try to put me in the ER getting her shaved up. Super quick, low noise, cleans easily and worth every dollar on this clipper.

    Good Supplement to Full-Size Clippers
This clipper kit from Gooad makes big claims about being a “complete cat grooming kit” and its ability to “trim cat matted hair cleanly and quickly,” but you should know you pets and their coats before ordering — if you have the right expectations, you may be pleased with these trimmers. Our long hair cat has her own $200 set of Andis clippers (and a monetarily cringe-worthy assortment of blades) because her coat is unruly enough that lesser alternatives just don’t cut it [no pun intended]. With this in mind, I ordered this kit from Gooad as a supplement to the Andis clippers, for targeted touch-ups in between full-blown cuts; for this application, the Gooad clippers work well. It’s also worth noting that even the bigger clippers in this kit are not full-size (see picture for size comparison), and as such, I don’t think they’re adequate for use as your primary clippers unless you have a tiny cat with a very manageable coat. Our cat mainly needs maintenance between cuts on her backside, so she can keep herself clean. Setting up and handling her full-size corded clippers for such quick jobs is a big hassle, and the cordless Gooad clippers can handle that task with relative ease; they also work well for small [newly-formed] matted areas, but I would not dare use them on a coat that is too far gone. The narrow-blade clippers work well for trimming excess paw fur around the foot pads. I have not tried the nail grinder, and probably never will (our cats keep up with their own claws with the forest of scratching posts set up around our home).I’m happy to recommend this kit as an addition to your ever-expanding cat grooming toolbox. However, if you’re new to this part of pet ownership, I can tell you from experience that you should skip the no-name stuff and make a serious investment in one of the premium clipper brands. From there, figure out what else you need; you may find that budget options such as those from Gooad can fill in the gaps.

    Kitty clippers
They worked purrfect. My cat didn’t mind the vibration and started to purr. And sat there which would have never happened it the clipper was any louder.

Excellent cat shaver (normal and mini blades)
My elderly cat’s problem:My elderly long-haired cat has become increasingly cranky about being groomed. She no longer enjoys brushing anywhere except her head and neck. I tried using thinning shears to get rid of some of the dense undercoat but she hates them. Shrieking, hissing, biting. She tolerates regular kitchen scissors better, but it’s hard to use them in all the delicate places that, frankly, need the most work.Clippers as a solution:So I used the regular cat clipper blades on her and found I could just zip in there and quickly shave under her arms, between her legs, around her backside, up her upper legs, etc. In about three minutes, I’d removed a significant amount of long, troublesome hair. I keep the clippers on my desk now and when she’s in a good mood I dive in for a minute. No screaming. I need to make several passes on the longer, thicker hair sometimes because I’m not shaving down to the skin. But this doesn’t bother me. I soon get it right and then it comes off quickly.I used the plastic attachment to guard against shaving down too far, but I did not feel the clippers worked as well when the attachment was on. I’m sure there is some technique to this. Maybe I’ll learn in the future.I tried the tiny, narrow set of blades (which is interchangeable with the nail grinder) and they work too. That said, I’m not sure I’ll have a use for them. She’s not a show cat. They might come in handy if a cat has an itchy spot that needs medication though. Or if you have a cat with excessive toe hair and they let you shave their toes.Last, the nail grinder. I can’t see using this. I tried them on my easy cat who lets me do anything. He wasn’t too happy with the vibrations and they didn’t seem to grind quickly enough to make me want to switch from regular nail clippers. They also pulled his dagger-claw into the side a bit and scared him. Again, I’m sure there’s a whole technique to learn here. But right now, it’s not for me. They do work though. I used it on my own nails and if you apply the right pressure they grind the nail just fine. But that’s the problem: my cat doesn’t like the pressure or the vibrations. So I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s a really nice set and everything works as it should. None of them are too loud. Neither cat was upset by the noise. Further, my cranky old cat is happy with the main clippers and she’ll find it so much easier to stay clean. She has fewer hairballs too.TLDR: Really nice set. Everything functions properly. My cranky old cat is happier with the regular clippers than with brushes, combs, thinning shears, or scissors.

    Great for all animals
I’ve been using this on my dogs and my kitty who’s hair can get too long some times. Cutting their hair has been super easy. Machine is quiet which has helped with my dogs anxiety. Light and portable! Has been working better than expected for my fur babies!

Received a used razor with hair on it
Took it right out of the box and immediately noticed a load of hair on the trimmer blade and inside the box. I received a used trimmer, very gross.

    Best trimmer for small dogs
My two small dogs go to the groomer pretty regularly but she’s but out due to surgery and my dogs were looking ROUGH! One of my dogs is pretty fearful of strangers so rather than subject her to a new groomer that she isn’t use to, I decided to try to groom them myself using this clippers and I have to say, I was very impressed! It’s quiet and didn’t spook my dogs and offered a lot of different attachments and lengths, making it easy to choose the length I needed. I also really liked the attachment making trimming up around their paws/pads a breeze. My one and only gripe is that it did not hold a charge for very long and I had to stop and recharge multiple times to get both of my dogs groomed, however, I was pretty impressed with how well this trimmed them up and had them looking pretty darn good especially considering I have zero grooming experience. I will definitely be keeping this on hand to use for quick trims and touch ups – it works great!
