Cute Idea, Cute Desk Cat Cubby
I have a cat that loves to be on the desk all the time. She loves to sleep tight in the way when I am trying to work. This is a fabulous way for me to let her still be on the desk (in her mind) but not in my workspace. It’s sturdier than it looks and my cat loves it. My cat is a small cat. Only 5lbs. This may not work as well for larger cats. I can’t imagine my 15lb fluffy ,part Norwegian Forrest cat, fitting in it at all.

Only one of my cats will use this bed, but she loves it
This desk cat bed looks cute with my cat in it. Only one of my cats uses this cat bed, and I’m not sure why the other two don’t? My cat that does use it, is in it all the time since I put it up. I think she even ran my other cat off when she was thinking about going in it. I think that might be why my other two cats don’t use this bed. The bed was very easy to set up. Which is a good thing, because this bed did not come with any instructions on how to set it up. The clamps open up pretty wide to attach to your desk or even a shelf. I would make sure whatever you attach it to has a good amount of weight to it, to hold this properly with your cat in it.

My cats love this, may not suit all desks
Having had my cats on my desk when I am working, I love the concept of a cat bed attached to the side of my desk and once I put it up my cats gravitated to it as hoped (and as normal with them, if one is sleeping somewhere the other wants to be in that place too 🙂 ). They even sleep in it while I am asleep which means that it is on par with the comfyness of my bed for them! So having passed the cat acceptance and usage test speaks volumes about this cat desk bed but I gave it 3 stars as I have some concern that it will stay solidly on my desk (which in all honesty has a thin, manufactured wood top). The bed seems to have an angle to it already. But maybe I didn’t assemble it correctly (it came without any instructions)?The other limitation is that you would have to take it down the bed to wash the fabric part, and by hand as the metal ring seems to be sewn into it. But again maybe I am missing something?Bottomline, this might work fabulously for you if you have a cat that loves to be with you while you work at your desk and possibly a desk with a thicker, stronger top than mine.

Heavy duty clamp style cat bed for desk – very sturdy
This assembles quite easily although there are no directions included. Once you have it clamped on to a desk, it is very secure, the hardware is heavy duty which makes sense given that cats ‘up to 50lbs’ can get into this. Our cat in the picture has taken to it with several times a day coming back and laying down and honestly having the cat that close is nice for me too.Check your desk though if you are planning to clamp this to the end of a desk, if the legs are right to the end of the desktop the clamp will not work. That was the case for mine, the leg of the desk is across the entire top surface right at the edge so I had to clamp this on in the front.

Pet bed for Desk
I really wanted to like this pet bed because it’s such a great idea, it’s perfect for keeping my pet nearby while I work. However, the actual product just didn’t meet expectations. The description says it fits pets up to 20 lbs, but that’s not accurate. My dog weighs only 13 lbs, and the bed is still WAY too small for him. It’s cramped, and there’s not enough space for him to comfortably settle in.On top of that, the bed doesn’t feel sturdy enough to be safe. It wobbles a lot, and I’m worried it could collapse or tip over if my dog shifts too much.I give it 2 stars because the concept is great, but unfortunately, the execution falls short. It needs to be larger and more durable to actually be a practical and safe option for pets.

Cats love it
Received this cat desk bed and the kitties love it. Even before I completed assembly. Now they line up for the coveted bed and those not fortunate enough to get the post give me a rueful eye.Like: Plush, removable bed that’s big enough for a 14 lb chonkster.Dislike: Cats complain there’s only one!Would I buy? Absolutely! I need more to keep the peace for the coveted seat.

A favorite of my cats
The GRETMIX Cat Desk Bed is a cozy and convenient perch for cats that love to stay close while you work. My big fluffy boy and little girl both try to get to it first as it is a favorite. The round design is spacious and fuzzy, making it perfect for cats of all sizes (up to 50 lbs). It’s a great addition for keeping your feline friend comfortable and engaged indoors. However, one important note: if the attachment screws are not tightened firmly, the bed may loosen and slide off after a few days. I thought it was tight and it felt secure but after some use by my cats one of the grips slid off. Once secured properly, it’s stable and reliable, but it’s worth double-checking during installation.
