【Easy Installation】The Litter Box Guard Kit comes with a 16.4-foot roll of super-sticky tape. Trim the shield to fit your litter box and secure it with the included heavy-duty tape!
【Durable & Easy-Clean PE Material】Made of thick, non-toxic PE plastic, our shield wipes clean with a damp cloth to remove stains and odors, and resists warping for years of use.
【Pro Tip for Flawless Installation】After cutting to size, lightly warm the shield with a hair dryer to straighten curves—it’ll lie flat against your litter box for a seamless fit.

1 roll doesn’t go far, but helpful
In my 22×14” (inside top) litter boxes, the barely 6 ft. long roll covers 3 sides of the 1st box and one short end and half of a long side of the 2nd box. They should make these rolls much, much longer so they don’t need to be pieced so often. It comes rolled tight and is impossible to work with all curled up. I had to roll it the opposite way for a couple of days and still had to work out the curl at the inside end by hand. I cut rounded corners on them for safety. The 2-sided fiber reinforced tape is very strong and a little is all you need in strategic places. This barrier stays against the wall, works great, and wipes clean. If you are wondering if re-install is necessary every time you clean a box, I use the clean-in-place method. Mound litter to one side, clean with spray, scoop (to scrape) and paper towels. Dry, then repeat on the other side. These allowed me to remove the messy foil I was using around my boxes that didn’t completely help because it was outside the box. This not only looks clean, but keeps the mat and surrounding walls and furniture completely free of missed drops and sprays. YAY! I need much more for my other 4 boxes! Longer rolls for multi-cat homes please.UPDATE: After a week, the ends curled back in the direction that they were rolled in. Guess I’ll have to heat them. A few tabs of glue was not enough to hold them. They stay standing when not attached, but lift above some litter. I’ll add more tape, but the surfaces must be cleaned again to adhere, ugh.

    Leaves Something to be Desired.
I was having issues with one of my cats urinating on my bathroom wall because she had the tendency to move a little too far back. This item will definitely help if you’re having issues with your cat urinating outside of the box. The issue is that the quality leaves a bit to be desired. When ordered, the plastic sheet comes rolled up which causes some issues installing the protector. The set does come with sturdy double sided tape but for several weeks the plastic was curled in on itself on the edges. The concept for the item is quite smart and functionality works but be advised you will have to cut to the desired length and then deal with it curling on itself.

    Don’t waste your money
This product is garbage. As much as I used the blow dryer on it …it would still roll up.Huge waste of my money!

Nice kit, holds up to my cats claws and pee
Overall, I am happy to have this material as it works well and is resistant to their claws (when burying poo) or to deflect pee, but I wish they were shipped flat for easier installation. The kit came with everything you need (tape and panels), which was a nice value add. The panels are easy to clean and I’ve used enzymatic chemicals without issue or deterioration. The panels came rolled up and keep their curl despite being laid flat. The curl makes it challenging to setup and control. I had to use more tape than expected and the panels don’t stand well on their own.

    Easy to install
These are staying stuck on and serving their purpose of protecting the wall next to the sand box. The double sided tape provided was easy to install on the side of the box. The cover paper pulled away easily allowing the plastic to be unrolled and pressed in place. I didn’t worry about a small curl to the top corners because they keep the edge away from the cats. I will see how long they last.

It’s a roll of translucent semi-rigid clear plastic with some tape. Simple but effective.
This is a relatively straightforward product – a roll of clear-ish plastic rigid enough to stand up but thin enough to roll that theoretically deflects cat urine down into your litter box.We have tall boxes (about as tall as this product is wide) and put the litter in a liner but the way our cat likes to use the box means he pees pretty high, above the level of the liner. Enter this product….we line the back of the box with this and set it inside the box’s liner and the pee goes into the litter instead of behind the liner. The litter holds the bottom in place and a few strategically placed pieces of tape hold it at the top.We don’t have to line the entire box, just the back, so we only need about a two foot section of it, and since this can be wiped down, I suspect this roll is going to last a good while for us.One thing it note is that it is rigid plastic on a roll so it’s going to want to stay curled up. If you need this to be straight for a longer run or in situations where it’s not supported by a tall box like ours is, you’re going to want to unroll this ahead of time and perhaps roll it backwards to take out some of the curl. It’d be nice if it didn’t curl so aggressively but I’m not sure how to avoid this when you’re talking rigid plastic. The fact that you get as much as you do and that it’s easily cleaned (unlike pee pads which have to be thrown out and smell terrible when soaked in pee) makes this a great solution for our tall boxes that will last us quite a while. I recognize that this is a bit different from the use case proposed in the product images (a lower tray-style box) but it’s perfect for us. To be able to get away from hanging pee pads on the back of the box is just awesome.
