So helpful with crystal litter!!!!
This workds frikan wonders! i have crystal litter, so all i really need is something to scoop the poop. This has got to be the best scoop i have trie so far, EVEN with crystal litter. the litter just glides right through the openings. There is different sizes within the scoop so if there is little clumps you can still pick them up without them falling through. This came in a very small box and at first i was very surprised, but then realized that i just need to attach the handle to the scoop and then it was done, it even hase a small metal piece that you put on the screw before actually putting on the handle, that little metal piece i THINK is the hook to hook it onto the side of the box but i have a litter scoop holder so i didn’t need it, but i still attached it so you can see what it looks like fully assembled

Difficult attaching the handle
Looks real nice and sturdy…but it is very hard to screw the handle on. The threading inside the handle doesn’t look much of a thread.

Sturdy and large
We’ve been through dozens of litter scoops. The plastic ones always break, but even one metal one we had broke right at the handle. So far this one has stood up to the impacted litter and not snapped in two. We are hopeful!

Does the job
Pros – VERY LARGE scoop; I have a large litter box and I hate trying to pick around with a tiny scoop. This is great for that. It’s metal, which is easier for me to keep clean than plastic and doesn’t hold smell.Cons – if you don’t already have a larger scoop holder, you might need one. There is a metal hook that you screw onto the handle, but I don’t understand what on God’s green Earth you might hook it on without knocking the whole scoop off – it’s positioned horribly and I don’t use it. Also the assembly itself can be loose – it doesn’t feel securely attached when you first screw it together. The assembly does stay together though, so it works fine. All in all, I really like it for its size, but I have a separate scoop holder that is large enough to accommodate this big guy.

Arrived Missing a Piece
There are no assembly directions or any paperwork at all that come with this scoop, but it’s just a cat litter scoop; you might ask “How hard can it be?” Well, I’d have to say “Impossible” if you’re missing a vital piece, which is what happened to me. The box contained only three items: a rubbery handle with a cord to hang it with, a small L-shaped bracket with a hole in it, and the scoop itself. The scoop has a screw sticking out of it that should screw into the handle, and I assumed the hole in the L-shaped bracket went between the scoop and the handle. That’s all fine and dandy, but if the handle is basically a rubber cylinder with nothing to screw the scoop to, it’s impossible to assemble. See my photos. I think there was meant to be another piece inside the handle that the screw attaches to, instead of just a gaping hole. My husband tried to come up with a way to use it as-is (duct tape, a dowel inside the handle), but it’s just useless without the insert that goes in the handle. It’s too bad, too, because the grill in the scoop is nice and small and seems like it would do a good job getting the little chunks out of the litter box.

Could be better, but not bad
This is a decent litter scoop – for $15, though? Meh, not really. Its solid, good metal construction and a pretty comfortable handle, but (at least personally) I find the spacing of the metal slots closest to the handle a tad too far apart. If you have any litter that isn’t completely clumped into a solid, good sized clump, or if it breaks apart, the smaller pieces fall right through. Overall 3.5 stars, predominantly for construction and handle.

Best scoop I’ve used.
Someone finally did it. This scoop gets those small “items” that slip through all the other scoops. This one stops them from going through. It moves through the litter quickly yet keeps those “nasty Items” from slipping through. Well made, hanging clip, hanging string, and rubber grip. Very well constructed.

Sturdy but handle came loose
Was the most sturdy scoop I’ve used, but the handle unscrewed a couple times.
